Would it be possible to put up the top 10 or 5 or so, and have the people from the forums give feedback? The desision would still be up to staff, but you could also get an idea of what everyone else thinks is suitable as well, If that makes any sence at all.
Also those that are close could produce further renderings to get more of an idea as well. |

Firstly please don't post in the missing registration thread except to let us know you've re-registered. It just makes more work and slows the process down while we check each post to make sure the person wasn't trying to tell us they entered and had to re-register.
Secondly: Quote:
We'll make the announcement when we've come to a final decision and not before -- we're not looking for a public vote and we're not presenting each round of our discussions for public approval. We do want the staff to unanimously agree that the entry selected is perfect however and this cannot be rushed. The process wasn't helped by the down time, people not re-registering quickly and the fact the staff don't have an infinite supply of free time. We ask that you just be a little more patient... |

Sorry if I'm coming over cynical... it's just I've seen this kind of thing happen in the past. You get a contest with so many great entries and no clear winner that it lands up a winner never gets announced... this happened to all who entered Mark Brooks' design a Capcom character contest on Drawstick... three years and still no winner announced.
Of course I'm not accusing you guys of being like Mark Brooks... I mean he did have the excuse of being hired to draw Spider-man... just don't leave us high and dry on this one. |
