well, since vol.6 hadn't fully translated in chinese so I can't say for sure, but with my limited japanese knowledge, the anime ending is an adaption of second half of the vol.6 closing talk.

Just think of it this way. Shiro and Sora (plus Steph) are reincarnations of the people who helped Tet end the war to become the One True God.

Riku Dola -- the "Past Sora" from the pics. Has white hair, and presumably red eyes, like Shiro. Leader of a small human village.

Shuvi Dola -- the "Past Shiro" from the pics. Has dark hair and eyes, like Sora. A member of the Ex Machina, a race of sapient machines in human form (Exceed Rank 10). Wife of Riku. "Shuvi" was a "more human" name given to her by Sora. Her original name is something along the lines of "207th Üc Pr-type 4f57t9" (Üc=Über-cluster, Pr=Proofer).

Korone Dola -- the "Past Steph" in a couple of the pics. Unlike Riku and Shuvi, she looks to be basically identical to her (presumed) reincarnation Steph. Older sister-in-law/stepsister (spelled the same in Japanese) of Riku, and the eventual first Elkian Queen of imanity, after the war. Steph's direct ancestor.

Due to the similar eye and hair colors, Shuvi and Korone look quite alike at first glance in some of the pics, so keep in mind that they share the...erm...assets of their present analogues, and you can tell them apart quickly.

Anyone who's read a translation of or more detailed notes on Volume 6 feel free to correct or expand on this. I'm particularly curious to know if there is confirmation one way or the other on

So Riku is part of the Royal Family? And wasn't Ex Machina Rank 2, 2nd only to the Old Deus. And this was still during the war between all races right? In other words before Tet.

That's one of the reasons why I'm wondering whether he and Korone are step-siblings or in-laws. There was no royal family back then. There was no Elkia back then, at least not as a kingdom. Not until the end of the war. All I know for sure is that Korone was the first Queen of Elkia, and an ancestor of Steph.

And the Ex Machina are rank 10. The Wikipedia page is quite clear on that, and something like that is unlikely to be wrong in the book's native language. (The ranking of a couple of races on the English Wiki page when they're unranked on the Japanese page, however...)

Sora said "No one will die it's only a game" but if it was not a "game" but "war" could he still say it? Seeing how blank lost in their world could they have survive in the ancient war the answer is no. In the end I feel Sora is only talk, well what Steph said about "abandoning the minority to save the majority is wrong" is definitely naive. While Jibril who killed countless people in enjoyment actually want the world to be united in peace?

The ancient war is irrelevant, since right now the oaths are in effect. So I don't see the point in saying that "Sora is only talk". It's not like we talk about ideas in the present being "only talk", because it would be impossible during World War 2.

Plum's true nature is as-yet unrevealed in the translated portion. No mention of the Dhampir racial representative is mentioned so far, either.
