Intellectual exercise of What-Ifs are mandatory in alternate history. Everything that happened in history didn't have to happen that way, so, it is interesting to speculate and interpolate what history events could've/not happen. Though since I'm new to this myself, I'm not really good at it

IRL, I more often ask myself "why didn't I do this earlier/better/etc?"
