Now that I realize, season 2 is repeating the event that completely destroyed Yuji. Sukuna and Mahito laughing at him for being useless (though protecting Shibuya is a joke when they couldn't defeat Jogo) which made me really enjoy this episode far more than the previous two. Guess these banters help a lot to bring more emotions than Megumi's shikigami or whatever was Jogo's intention.

Just like the manga, I didn't really care about Nobara's death and her whole flashback, honestly. It was shocking to see a shounen mangaka willing to kill his heroine though. Assuming she really is dead.

Oh yeah, come to think of it, Nobara never really got much character development, huh?
Now I see why this anime introduces so many characters. You get to waste one episode each time one dies. At least Hametsu no Oukoku is painfully edgey. This... I really couldn't care.

Jujutsu Kaisen reached the Kingdom Hearts III moment that angered all the fans: give the heroine a lot of hype just to kill her for fun and anger the main character in the process. Mahito is still enjoying his day like Xehanort
Kairi got some justice in the DLC but I guess the damage was still done. At least Maki somehow survived to being incinerated like Nanami.

So I'm guessing, since I never read the manga, that the writer is basically ending the series and franchise? I mean, killing off almost every character anyone cared about kind of lends itself to that line of thinking. I've kind of lost interest in the series during this season 2. Had high hopes. The animation was awesome, the fights were great, but the overall story sucks. And by that I mean, I have no more characters to be interested in at this point. The villains are basically pulling out ex-machina crap constantly.
Won't be buying the blu-rays of season 2. Has the manga ended, btw?

The fights are becoming a mess. The problem isn't the animation (though it does have issues at times), but the storyboard. They are trying way too fucking hard to make everything over the top.
Toji vs Megumi and Yuji vs Choso will remain the peak of this season. As for the story, that one guy stopped Nobara's injuries from getting worse but she was already dead and Mahito's CT damages the soul. Not sure Shoko could heal that.
