I had to remind myself that this wasn't the Milky Holmes thread when I saw that.

Yo. Here with OP and ED info.

It was hardly a surprise our OP and ED would be by Sphere (this is their show), but now we have titles.

The OP is "Non stop road" and the ED is "Ashita/Asu [spelling uncertain] e no Kaerimichi" (明日への帰り道; The Way Back to Tomorrow).

Roads are a major motif in these songs, is what they're getting at.

Minor update. The first CM is on Youtube.

The translation of the voice over Crunchyroll had posted on its news article is "This is Sphere and the anime we're in, Natsuiro Kiseki! It's a kind of strange story of youth weaving together the lives of four girls! The first miracle [kiseki] is certainly that we all got to be in this show together! Look forward to Natsuiro Kiseki!"

Also I noticed there is still no tags for the series.

What is up with sci-fi/fantasy anime masquerading as slice-of-life this year? First Rinne no Lagrange, then Ano Natsu and now this.

That prayer of theirs will summon the "miracle" of the show, which will be a giant mech that the 4 of them must all pilot at once in order to save their little hometown. :B

I wouldn't even be surprised if my joke came true, lol.

Or that the four girls will receive the power of god each other, like the godess of life (Natsumi), the godess of heal (Saki), the power of love (Yuka) and the goddess of music (Rinko).

No, let's combine the ideas and expand upon them!
Spoiler for Me just being silly:

Okay, speaking SERIOUSLY now, I'm looking forward to this show. It should be pretty relaxing.

Location of the story is Shimoda, Shizuoka. Seems like the festival scene in the 15-second PV is based on the regional taiko matsuri.

Also, I got three scans of the comic version. Shall I post?

Well besides the suprise factor, I think is also partly because of a heavy focus on the character and their relationships to each other that make it seem slice-of-life. Hell I love this development of SFF slice-of-life series.

If that is not the plot of this series, I seriously want someone to actually do an anime like that. Espically if the Yuri is a heavy as we are hoping for. Hell from your plot, I feel that you need to add some Kannazuki no Miko too to your mix.

Heh, I am glad my crazy early theory of "then boom giant robots and Yuri show up" is influencing everyone here.

Ohhh, its a real place. Interesting.

On the safe side, you should probably start a manga thread due to the rules on non-anime based spoilers in anime threads.

Edit: Just noticed MisaoFan already started one in the manga and light novel section.

Edit 02: Right now ANN is listing the start date as 5 April.

If I am understanding the official site correctly, there is going to be a pre-screening of episode 01 on 31 March at 9:00pm Japan time on Nico Nico Douga.

Maybe some one with better Japanese skills can confirm.

It is exactly as you say. Somewhat interesting as NicoNico won't be broadcasting the series proper.

Is this one of those, "You have to watch it at this exact time" screenings or a "We'll have it up for a fixed period of time so you can watch it at your leisure" screening?

The NicoNico page says you will not be able to request to watch it later, so it's a true "live" broadcast.

Ok from what I can tell, the live broadcast will start at 20:30 JST, which will be 11:30 GMT on 31 March. It says it "opens" at 20:20 JST (11:20 GMT) though I am not sure what that means.

Basically, for live events such as this and for marathons, they will "open" or start the player at some time before so they can launch the video promptly on time without users having to refresh the screen at the designated time. It also allows premium users to ensure they'll be viewing it and allow non-premium users to wait until they can get access to the player to encourage more premium purchases.

Ok thanks for the tip. I have not used Nico Nico Douga much so I didn't know how they ran "live" events.

Watched the first episode via NicoNico. I don't want to provide spoilers, but the Four Seasons references were well-timed. It was interesting, but I'll have to view it both with subs and with additional episodes to provide a better opinion of how it'll turn out.
