NT spread cover for ZR, apparently the second pic, says that there will be an extra commentary (or monologues) from Lelouch & C.C., Shirley and Rolo. Yeah i am epic for bringing this news too fast {lol} but credit goes to angel_katsumi from LJ, niiice.

So yeah, probably the speculation was true, i am not really wetting my pants for Rolo's nii-san {probably} monologue, but for the rest of the three-gang, FUCK YAH.

Huh, I was just about to post that as well. In any case, the next issue of Newtype (8/10) will include two more months of the Newtype calendar. Clamp has October, with a Geass illustration (Ebata Risa has September, Macross F).

They are the two main characters from Planetes, which curiously enough was a series made by the same director of Code Geass...but it's very different and rather strange to include them on the same spread.

She acts and looks moe, sometimes. I think it's because of her going around hugging Cheese-kun and stuff. And anyway, she was up against Yuki from Haruhi at one poine, and Yuki's not very 'moe' either.

Moe is so undefined and vague that almost anything could be moe if the person describing it wished it to be so.

Going by the usual definition of moe, C.C. isn't moe. She's far too snarky for one, plus she's also extremely capable, not weak in the slightest and is badass in her own right. Since the usual definition of moe implies a degree of weakness or helplessness, C.C. doesn't fit.

Nunnally, on the other hand... christ, she's the trifecta of moe. Ill Girl, check. Loli, check. Cute, check.

Anya is an interesting case. She's moe in appearance and has the same sort of attitude that the Rei Ayanami-inspired emotionless girls have. However, she's also not helpless and is in fact quite badass.

That's pretty debatable, at least as far as her piloting skill goes. Her Mordred frame is more defensive in capability IIRC, and she is among the first to go down in combat.
