State capitalism has been around for awhile now; it's basically just modern fascism. In a world of globalization and excessively superhuman technology, it goes without saying that the individual's power/freedom is going to get shafted in favor of higher societal structures such as companies and bureaucracies.
Quote:
Furthermore, human beings themselves are no longer "on top". It is the corporations and bureaucracies that are, as stated above the quote. I would say that animal rights would come along naturally with human rights. If more efforts were devoted to feeding people efficiently (human rights), then the inefficient meat production would decrease and less animals would die gruesomely (animal rights). |

Well it seems that BP's latest attempt to fill in the drill leak has failed.
This is just starting to get preposterous. |

Yup, pretty much. Other than the leader of the SA, most of the Nazis were straight. But why let facts stand in the way of your agenda when you can make up your own facts? It's like a personal reality from raildex, only instead giving you esper abilities, it lets you believe in whatever unsupported bullshit you want without having to entertain notions that you might be wrong.

The funny thing though is, that this guy would make a good goebbels personality wise. I guess every place has its share of demagogues who didn't learn that they are free to have an oppinion and voice it. But they don't need to (it is not a civic duty to voice one's stupid oppinion) - especially idiots like him.

Israeli soldiers kill passengers of an international flotilla trying to get into Gaza.
I'm reading reports saying around 20 people died. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Wor..._To_Gaza_Strip http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/mid...t/10195838.stm |

I hate to ruin the fun but I just cannot let pro-Israel people have the fun.
If you agree of killing the activists and maybe you should think this. What if a Muslim country conquered a Jewish one(nevermind what are they) and locked all the remaining Jewish people in an open-air prison and those Muslims enjoyed seeing those poor Jews died slowly of starvation and dehydration. Of course other Jewish people try to save them but only those Muslims have a 'permit' to lock those Jews up from countless of politicians from around the world. The Jews that try to save the helpless ones are killed because they are entering the no-man's land. Alfred was right. Some people just want to see the world burns. Maybe these pro-Israel people are not pro-Israel after all. They supported Israel because they are the 'stronger' side, killing the weaker one. Some people are actually enjoyed the other's suffering. You can give many bad reputations as many as you want but I just don't care. If you do then I win because I was right. |

Study the Arab-Israel conflict. The Palestinians are funded by oil-giants, and the anti-US sentiment is started out due to the US supporting Israel in the Yom Kippur War. Instead of negotiations, the Arabs opted for war against Israel in 1948. And till today, certain Arabian countries like Syria still supplied material to the Palestinians to "fight against the Jews". The problem with the Palestinians is that they are fundamentally screwed up. They rely too much on oil and covert Arab support, and they are simply jealous at Israel's ability to sustain themselves despite being surrounded. Israel started out as a desert but was turned into a brimming metropolis, while Palestine just screw themselves up with internal conflicts between Fatah and Hamas. It's their land now because the Arabs failed to defeat them. And instead of fighting them into the next century, why don't they do something about their own economy, buy some real ships instead of trying something stupid on a makeshift flotilla? What Israel is specifically targeting are militants and terrorists. By mixing with them, these people are just courting suicide. So excuse me if I don't feel sympathy too. Similar to how a French-Jew idiot who stood up identifying himself as a Jew in the Entebbe raid and was shot, they asked for it. Quote:

Technically, yes. If the person knows little and reads nothing. Like people who claim that Japanese schools teaching diluted history is a lie.
You win the argument by presenting proof or logic, but best if both are presented.
