But i don't think this will be the case with FF13. It's too big of a game to have everything translated in english just for a japanese release. They probably want to send the game to stores as soon as possible, so... I don't think it's going to have english subtitles. Too much work for almost no gain. We have to wait till the american version. |

Kind of missed out on this announcement, GOW blu-ray disc compilation. For people who are lazy, God of war 1 & 2 will be released as a PS3 version at the end of this year. The both titles will be remastered in 720p, and feature some PS3 enhancement, aka trophies support.
So now it seems that BC isn't really a problem anymore, i just find it odd that they decided to relwased it on disc, rather than via PSN download. |

I bought the new turtles game that came today in the PSN.
Oh, boy. Easily the worst game i've ever played in the PS3. That is BAD. If someone wants to see how bad it is, play the demo. It's the same, the only difference is that you waste money in the full version... For nothing. I can't even call it a game. It's more like torture. But i also got Shatter. This one is reeeeallly good. Easily one of the best games in the psn. And is kinda cheap, just 8 dollars. That one i strongly recommends. |

Did you both love playing all the previous Final Fantasy games, and complete them? Beyond FF8, I never could bring myself to play through Final Fantasy games any more. And from what I've seen (watching friends play), aside from graphics, the gameplay has remained very much the same, though FF12 was sort of an exception.
I get this feeling that apart from graphics, upon receiving this game, I may be sorely disappointed. Heck, even some recent screen shots of the game show that it isn't quite as graphically brilliant as it was hyped out to be through all those trailers. |

I mean, japanese RPGs are pretty tedious and boring games, if you observe them objectively. It's all about collecting. Collect Exp for levels and abilities; collect money for weapons and armours. Sniff in every goddamn corner to not miss anything. And while you're searching for the treasures you engage combats in which you throw white numbers at your enemies. Most onlockers will comment: "How is this fun??" I love it. The RPG behaviour is so deeprooted within me, that even when I play an action orientated game like a shooter or a jump'n'run, I still search for hidden things everywhere. It's something you have to like, if you don't - it's a pain. But what makes me do and like this stuff through an entire game is the story and the characters who carry it. That I equip my beloved characters as best as I can gives me satisfaction I liked all stories so far from the FFs (and the charas of course), but FF XII's. Even after 3 playthroughs I still enjoy the dialogues thoroughly. The graphics are always a big selling point in the FF series, but I don't really care too much. It's nice to have, but I don't care very much. So Da~Mike ... I don't know why you didn't finish the FFs past VIII, but some of my close friends don't like any after that either (XI aside). They say they hated the childlikeness of IX and hated the linear story flow of X. FFXIII and FFvsXIII look very promising in the character and storytelling department, so I'm very hyped for these games. Please don't let me down SE .. I'll cry! .. I also have high hopes for FFXIV |

Gameplay has only improved. Gameplay in allot of the earlier ones 1-8 was trash. Lots of unbalancing and broken flaws. X-2 ironically enough having the best ATB system to date. Too bad Versus is Nomura junk and XIII looks to be a step back gameplay wise.
XII also has a great system if you can adjust to it.

Really thats to bad its a 3D remake of Turtles in Time from the SNES and that was a port of the Arcade game they were so much fun back in the day with two ppl it was great yes mindless but so much fun. With the remake u can have up to 4 ppl play now. bu ive read mixed reviews on this game some say good some say bad. It came out on the xbla a few weeks ago. Also i guess it has sentimental value to me this was the first game when it came for SNES that me and my Brother ever played and beat together.

There is some problems though. Specially about online: Even with friends that live near me, it was really laggy and i always got an error whenever i tried to invite two or more friends into a game. And the game is kinda repetitive, but it still mantain the fun for one playthrough, i'm not planning to replay though.. I think the best part in the game is the multiplayer(local) that's where the gold is hidden. If you have some friends to play with, then it's a good buy. Well, give it a shot, maybe you'll like it. It's only ten dollars after all. |
