Also, it may be just me, but I have a wacky theory that anyone who has had lines in the previews is actually safe through the anime.

So far, people who have had voiceovers in the previews:

Ange
Salamandinay
Momoka
Tusk
Hilda (aka Ange's harem ends here)
Vivian
Chris
Rosa
Salia (ew)
Sylvia (ew)

Anyone else is liable to very much get whacked. Hence, that Ersha hasn't had one yet is a bit worrisome.

It's funny to me: the creators of Cross Ange got criticised by people for making a show that they felt was cynical and exploitative and also said the show wasn't made in a vacuum; it reflected the creator's (negative) thoughts and understanding about people and the world. Then you find out the (false) world of Cross Ange was made by a cynical person who maintains it through exploitation and his world wasn't made in a vacuum either; it reflects his thoughts and understanding about people.....which happen to be cynical and exploitative. It's all rather fitting.

That goes without saying. Either the staff no longer has any idea what to do and are just winging it, or they are buying time for the finale, in which case shows this series didn't need to be two-cour.

Personally, I think the series has gotten better. My issues are that they're taking their time revealing things and moving on, they repeat old info unnecessarily, and Ange's wariness of fighting against Embryo during the DRAGON arc could've been slightly better written. Other than that, I like what the series is doing currently.

Hilda is currently the pilot of a red Arquebus whose engine is from Zola's.
It's also shown in the new OP.
Her Glaive was recoloured (orange) and handed down to one of the new rookies.

@Golos: You're right about that, Hilda does pilot an Arquebus with Zola's engine now. The picture in the spoilers has the same serial number as Hilda's old Glaive whereas her Arquebus has a different serial number.

More the HL (initials for Hilda) plus the CBR115 number, all the custom Para-mails have the pilot's initials in their numbers.

It's just that some people working on the anime industry can't imagine having girls on screen without making them moe or covering them in fanservice. Fukuda said he doesn't know how to do moe so erotic content was the only choice.
