Shakugan no Shana - Music discussion (OP/ED & OST, etc.)

My fav's are Serment, u/n,Sense, Prophecy, All in good times. Most of them are sung by Mami Kawada. Linkage is good too.

I'll believe & ONE. I think ONE is the best of all ending from SnS so far..

ONE certainly does fit the endings for these past episodes quite nicely. But episode 12 still is the spark for I'll Believe.

I certainly like Hishoku no Sora, Sense and JOINT best. I love these songs. I have listened to them a lot of times.

I like Serment, I'll Believe, Prophecy, Sociometry and ONE as well.

Akai Namida (from the movie) is very good as well. Very emotional.

Ah, I remember Another Planet now! The composition of that song is really pretty. That's another one of my most favorite songs by her, too.

For me I like Joint the best, it has a good melody to it and I quite like the lyrics too. I do like Prophecy in a very close second.

The Best OP of the series to me has to be Kawada Mami's [Joint], to this day it's still in my playlist and one of my favorite from her as well.


To me, the EDs weren't as memorable... They were good, but not really catchy. That's why it's not hard for me to pick Altima's [One] as my personal favorite for being both good AND catchy


Speaking of Altima, I can't believe it's only now that I realized the vocalist for that band is none other than Kurosaki Maon I guess that makes her the third "Go-To" artists for their blockbuster Animes after Kawada Mami and KOTOKO

I kinda agreed with you to a certain extend. But that's only because I know only one non-Anime song from her which was [Face of Fact] which just happens to be the first song I've heard from her after watching a certain amazing music video of WOW that uses it... Yeah, WOW was still cool at that time 6 years ago.

Since then... Sure she made some good songs for Shakugan no Shana, Hayate no Gotoku! and one for Kannaduki no Miko, but nothing on the level of [Face of Fact].

For me it's the opposite; I dislike most of KOTOKO's standalone/video game/non-anime related work -- except for the two songs she did for BlazBlue. I like those.

Face of Fact is her best for me....well that's expected. Baldr series music is generally her top IMO

Generally speaking ONE is one of the nicer EDs maybe...Apart from I'll Believe, Sociometery and Hishoku no Sora the others are not as..... unique?

I assume they made I'll Believe 5 mins long to introduce the group? I believe that was their first song as a group (of course Maon Kurosaki is famous for Magic∞World and Memories Last).
