Don't forget getting e-mailed by lolis so you can coach them even though they're clearly already better at the subject than you and handle bullying in a more mature manner.

... you know, maybe this criticizing is a bit excessive. Being a somewhat messed up introvert is part of Tomoko's charm, after all, both for us and most of her ladies. She just pulls it off much better. Of course, it helps half her harem is as weird as her.

Tenshi no 3P. It has one of the most pathetic MCs you could possibly imagine. Guy gets called out for liking sewing and stops going to school for years! So Tomoko is watching Persona 5 and thinks she likes to dress up like that despite it being chunni. Next day she and Nemo talk about it as Nemo is the only girl wearing a parka at school. Tomo manages to get back at Nemo btw by saying calling her "Kuro" is something a chunni would come up with, lol, Nemo even wanted to go back to calling her Kuroki-san but Tomo have none of that. XD

Anyway, Nemo hands off her parka to Tomo, Tomo says it smells good and that if she were a middle school boy she would totally have gotten a boner. XDDD
Asuka gives Tomo her fashion magazine and Nemo encourages Tomo to come to school in the way she wants to be dressed, promising her that nobody will laugh at her. At home Asuka calls Tomo for tomorrow's make up.

So next day happens and Nemo sits down next to in tracksuit Tomo and gets a full blown stomach attack after seeing the horrible thick make-up on her face! Nemo tries so hard not to laugh, gj, sis. XD
Asuka is all proud and happy about that make-up which Tomo has yet to see herself so after telling Nemo something good as in she wanted to dress that way for today because next week they might not sit next to each other and she didn't wanted Nemo's advise go to waste. Nemo thinks that Tomo is saying something real good but it gets ruined by the horrible bimbo make-up. Tomo leaves class to see how she looks in the bathroom mirror (I wonder if this means this might continue next update), Minami enters the same time as Tomo leaves and unlike Nemo burst out laughing and makes fun of Tomo by telling Mako how terrible she looks. Nemo looks at the (scary) Poker-face Asuka and sweat-drops, thinking she is glad she hasn't laughed.

In other words:

The girl who wants to become a hair stylist and make-up artist has no fashion sense! She is just so naturally beautiful that she looks good in anything and with everything on her face so her sense of fashion is skewed. This explains Asuka's attempt to make Tomo beautiful way back then with those ass long eyelashes and eye shadow, it didn't looked weird because of Tomo it looked weird because Asuka sucks at putting good make-up on. XDDD

I'm honestly surprised at how nice Nemo was this episode. Even before finding out it was Asuka who put that make-up on, she tried not to laugh. And after Tomoko played pushed her buttons too. Well done, girl. Yuri immediately perking up after naming conventions were brought up was a cute touch as well.

yeah. Agree with this - and on this matter you actually see how it also reflected in Tomoko case - Which is fear of isolation. For those who is not known; Japanese is famous for group relationship issues; the same reason that cause offices bullying; rather than outright hitting or punching; they isolate you from the group. If you turn back to another example - Rozen Maiden; you can see the MC from there also quit school from just a picture of him draw a dress got stick on school board. Rather than outright bullying; i'd call it public shaming. It is actually a major issue in Japan for a while now; not just school but even workplace. So this tend to lead to the idea of how most kids in Japan want to blend in. Generally; Asia countries pretty much all share this trait; but it's particularly bad in Japan.
