u can use these skill (if already have) to make it a little easier :

wil : double action, cover, emelita's guardian, battle order
emelita : double action, wil's guardian, undress/prevail, wind magic > golem / omni magic > leguna

enchance ur armor with hermes gem (speed) and cons or res gem

if u already have artifact then just replace double action with undresss/prevail on emelita, it will make her harder to get killed

Any tips for the Escort-Hanna-mission? Most enemies don't pose a problem, but those angle robot thingy and there extreme long range are probably difficult to reach and destroy before Hanna is within their range . In the worst case it's just my bad luck D:.
Current my old save file, Emilita's route with the others completed + inherited levels, etc. I have except Asmodeus, Lily, Laguna and Stone Golem, every character or their clone unit.
Highest regular Alchemy rank (i. e. not the two optional ones).
I'm just trying to get all available characters and the last route done before I consider the VN - for me - "completed" (I'm aware of all the optional dungeons).

I did mine in hard mode + first play through.
What you want:
Wil's strength rune: it stacks 5 times for +5 int on emelita.
Emelita's earth costume for prevail (optimally prevail II).
I grabbed magic resist I from holy robes as well I think.
S/S+ Earth resist via earth robes (do not fully resist or the golem will melee and smash you).

How the fight carries out:
- Wil does nothing but buff Emelita: he will get smashed in the face. I used him for Battle Orders and Cover. Once Emelita gets to 5 stacks of buff, recast it before the buff expires (in 5 turns).
- Emelita should be equiped with the swanwing staff which should give you the speed needed for 3 attacks per turn. You probably want to save every turn to make sure the golem is attacking emelita and not Wil with its ranged attack so you do extra damage via retaliation.
- I actually ran out of mana to kill Leguna on the first attempt. So I started the fight with the +mana accessory, then swapped over to the sunora after I used up the bonus mana. (Sunora induces Rage which is probably your biggest damage buff: your resist should be good enough so that Emelita takes only 1 damage).
- Depending on how well your mana is going, you can try finishing off the golem with an AoE spell as its damage is not affected by prevail. It really kills your mana though.

Once golem is dead, take the sunora off Emelita and swap in a shield for cover procs and work on Leguna (careful shields reduces spd). His spells are Omni based so pray for Cover procs and crits... I finished my fight with 1 hp left on both Wil and Emelita: got lucky with a dodge+crit+shield proc.

There are two skills that make those robots useless so you can rush into their room as tanks+clear the room ahead of time.
1) Projectile Defense: I believe damage is reduced by 10% per square... so a 100dmg hit does 90-def when you are next to it, 80-def when you are 1 square away....
2) Eliza's Seal skill: which makes her untargetable by any skillls (it also breaks every boss battle - you will know when you get to asomodeus....)

To cheese the mission you can use Kohakuren and port Hannah back to square 1....

//

In other news I started playing Arterial of Origins: I like the character design much better but game play is a lot more simple.

Thanks, it worked like a charm . I always forget her Displace ability. But, now the same deal for Misanshel (still underleveled, though) >_<. I was cheap and sent also Eukleia against the angle-robts, who slaughtered them while only receiving 1 hp damage in return .
Oh and I finished the Deadbead dungeon for the first time in all my playthroughs *lol*. Don't ask why I didn't visit it before

Do you know if the dungeons in the Yudora mine, after the map where you fought Asmodeus, are required in order to make her join?

Furthermore there are scenes for all the female "monsters" à la Melodianna, Suina, Crayenne, etc with the latter happening mostly in the later part of their quests.
In short: At least 3 playthroughs are needed, if only for the main heroines alone.
I probably have to ask one more time,

But there is no H-Scene for upgrading the main girls' armor if you are not romancing her right? I.E dating Yulea while upgrading Swaeri's armor won't trigger an H scene.

Armor upgrade is expensive...

Edit: I also met this weird doll in the desert that was totally immune to magic and toss playing cards at me that hit like a truck. Is there a story behind that? Is at the "Blocked Region" where you learn to get warding-dissolving stones.

no scenes if you are not in the associated route.

The doll appears when there are only a few turns left in a dungeon (some maps have it appear earlier).

Its not "immune" to magic. iirc it has the forcefield ability which protects it from projectiles. if you kill it you get treasures to sell at the church.

Armor upgrade imo are not needed unless you are on Emelita route. I didn't really bother til the last few chapters on my Yuela playthrough. Whoever balanced the Emelita pushed the difficulty bar all the way to max then broke the handle.

There is one scene that requires to be upgraded even it's not associated to a route, but those three armour can be only unlocked in ng+.

It has projectile protection skill. It reduce the damage by 20% of range attacks (bow/magic).

All of skills in game are explained in the in-game lexicon, so taking your time to read it isn't a bad idea. (like reading manuals, that nowadays nobody reads them....)

Well I like to upgrade all the armours not for the sake of H-scenes, but for unlocking skills. Having more skills does make them more flexible than just their basic skills.

I feel sad for Aht. I just can't find an use for her no matter what

Her speed is so slow and pretty much Yuela can do anything Aht does. She freaken tanked the Thunder Dragon for over 35 rounds while Aht get 1 shoot. And it takes forever to get her to the fight.

Once again about Asmodeus: I beat every of the new dungeons in Yudora's mine and watched the event where Asmodeus appeared in Wil's room after he used the braclet (I think that was the very first event after she joined as a guest), but there's nothing new to see. I'm in Chapter 8, so maybe I just need to progress to the next one, and the only events pre-promotion are those to get the two girls from the demon-folk rumors.

Besides that: Mylen is absurdly overpowered. During the Devil's nest dungeon (the level 95 in Yudora's mine area) she raepstomped those flying snake enemies with ease whereas everyone else struggled or did low damage without prevail (3) bonus. Wil and she are by now my highest leveled characters.

@Archmage: Yes, Aht was somewhat poorly designed. Sadly, most of the "starting" crew except the main heroines will start to fall back the more you progress (and especially after a new game+).

Yeah in NG+ and NG++, you pretty much will never use any character from NG except maybe Kohakuren and Ragsmuena, not counting the Heroines. The characters you get in NG+ just completely outclass them.

What does NG and NG++ get you? Just the same storyline but everyone keep their levels?

I mean, is there an real reason to play it other than see the other two girls naked?

Also, What problem I have with Aht isn't the fact she is strong or weak, but the fact she is too slow. Even the Undrine can be used as an anti-ghost type support for Wil or Yuela, but I have no use for Aht except to sit on the base camp to prevent a ghost from capping my camp in a sneak attack.

The one or two dungeon that need burrow are usually full of Earthmen which are immune to her attacks >.<

Obviously the storyline changes depending on the the route you are in. Other than that, you'll get new characters and quests to do and you'll obtain the receipt for the gold key. You can choose what to bring on your new game+, such as levels, items, money, etc. Ultimately you can acess the level 90 dungeons, but others are more knowledgeable about them.

Aht should have 4 move, did you do her training event yet? Also give her Wind element Claws or something then.

I just got that quest, not sure where would I go train her to do that.

Also, can someone explain to me the CP system?

It seem some abilities come from items, but most abilities seem to take up some kind of specific slot to prevent them from working con-currently. Some of the girls have only 19/30 CP yet other people would have 25/25. And sometimes I can have two of the similar abilities (I.E Magic missile and homing missile), yet other times only one at a time (I.E Sky/Dark/Flame dance for Yuela)

You can do the cheesy way and train Aht in the deadbeat dungeon.

if you go over your CP limit, everyone on the field uses insane amount of FP to move (IIRC +3 FP each step). If it's a big map don't go over it, unless you have a hard time to kill the enemies or you want to waste FP recovery items

Not control points, the CP for each individual's skill equiping.

oh that CP. Each character can have max 4 skills equiped (not counting skills from weapons and accessories). Each skill requires some amount CP to be able to equip it. Your CP cap will increase when the character hits certain levels (when she class up).

Actually, I just realized the followers are on part with the main heroines if you take off their highly-enchanted-enhanced cloths. I changed the 3 main back to their starting dresses they are on par with their follower counterparts~

I guess the clothes definitely make the girl then XD
