btw why did Suiten make Aoi drunk ? Maybe she also sees that Aoi & Oga are like her & Zen and doesn't want it to end the same .. but Aoi can't confess being sober, sooo

The last chater 129, just prove you wrong. The more time pass the more Hilda is caring for Oga. It's obvious that Hilda care much much more for Oga now than at the beginning of the manga. And it's the same for Oga. Slowy but surely they are developping feeling toward each other. It's just a matter of time before they fall in love with each other. As much as I like Aoi, it really seems to me that the OgaXHilda pairing will be the pairing of this manga.

Oga/Hilda is definitely promising, however I think the biggest problem with any pairing is Oga .. the guy is simply NOT interested .. I think Hilda x grown-up Beel or Hilda x Aoi (oh yeah

) or Toujou x Aoi or something is more likely then anything with Oga lol .. guy is denser then Goku in this regard and I doubt Hilda or Aoi would do what Chi-Chi did

I don't agree. Lately, Oga has shown he cares about Hilda. I think there is 75% chance the final pairing is OgaxHilda.

he's never shown any romantic signs though - what's needed for a pairing

anyway, it's most PROFIT for the mangaka not to give a decisive answer and keep on trolling & flaming the shipping wars

I would generally agree with this as this is a simple action comedy series with romance being a mere subplot but actually Beelzebub has been a tad different cause it's played on the romance subplot fairly well, maybe not on the heavy or deep side but it's played it well.
I do think there is a chance we could see something happen by the end of it all but then I do think it likely leans towards not happnening more.

And just cause Oga doesn't seem interested in girls doesn't mean nothing could happen either.
If he doesn't take interest then I'd suspect someone like Hilda would just force him into marriage, hell they are baiscally married already

As for chapter 129 that was a fiarly good chapter, we got comfirmation that Hilda and Yolda are sister(don't think anyone could have thought otherwise)

It was like we got double helping of Hilda...or Yolda, didn't really matter cause they are both just damn fine!

And I truly love Furuchi's blunt perverted nature, he's much much funnier than just any kinda perverted character you get.

Since this is a comical shonen series this is obviously overthinking things, but if Hilda and Yolda are sisters I'm curious about the exact nature of how demon abilities work? Up til this point it appeared that genetics played a role in what type of ability a demon possessed since closely related demons had similar powers, as an example Alaindelon and his daughter both have essentially the same dimensional transfer powers, with En and Beel they have electric and fire emission (still both involve releasing a form of energy). Hilda and Yolda break this trend because while they are sisters Hilda seems to have energy projection abilities (at least the shadowy aura she emits seems to be a form of energy projection) while Yolda has dimensional transfer powers.

On the other hand genetics must have some role since Beel has an ability but is too young to have acquired it through training. Could Hilda have dimensional transfer powers that she never uses on screen (actually she may have just used them in this chapter to switch places with Yolda)?

I think some of the bad blood between them comes from their being half-sisters. I don't think Hilda's a dimensional demon.

Even though I dislike the guards, because of the attempted rape, I like how he said this to Hilda earlier. "Try talking to me like that again, and I'll leave you naked in there!!" I want to see that happening xD

Ditto. This type of method to slowly pair up the protagonist with a certain heroine, has been use many times, in different genres.

The chances of Hilda x Oga, is higher than Aoi, the comic relief.
