My favorite of the many gimmicky "reincarnated as a precocious baby" Korean webtoons because the stakes are so high and things don't always go as planned. It's dragging on a bit lately, but the payoff to the whole saga should be great. And tragic.

The real question is why Claude's treatment towards her was so different in 2nd timeline. Does it really made a huge difference whether he met her early or late?

Athy is not Earthling. She was the original Athy who got killed by her father, and the reincarnated to Earthling and then reincarnated back to Athy as a child in a reset timeline.

And this is no spoiler as it was hinted (chapter 70) before and outright stated in chapter 80.

Sounds like the black magic took some time to take effect, so Athy appeared before it had fully affected Claude, preventing him from forgetting her and her mother entirely.
