Spoiler for Ammusing side about the Mother's Pet: One of the amusing things is that the Mother has a pet spider. It's rumored to be massive and eat people she doesn't like. Thing is, it's a spider. Like, a spider that can be found in our world. Even if it's "massive", it's the size of a Huntsman or Tarantula, not human devouring size. So it obviously doesn't eat People.
