Does anyone else think its possible that athrun made savior? I mean he is pretty good at electronical stuff and he made those little robot balls for lacus. Savior does look alot like aegis/justice, so maybe he based it on them and produce savior?

Building Tori and Haro is a tad bit different from building a top-of-the-line advanced MS.

Oh, and it has a ZAFT final prototype model name; ZGMF-X.

Which is why I wonder how he's gonna get it in the first place...

Who knows, maybe he'll even steal Luna's Zaku (it's red) before moving onto Savior.

Unless he makes a giant torii or a Haro gundam I doubt it.

Well I can ya one thing, he probably would think twice about self destruction of his gundams if he personally made it himself lol. Or maybe not. I swear he has compulsive gundam-destruction disorder.

I think he'll gradually gain the trust of ZAFT and particualy because of the close ties to the chairman, who probably keeps track of all the new secret gundams himself, will be allowed to have it.

I would like to think that Athrun comes to pilot the Saviour through the good favor of the Chairman. The guy seems to be going out of his way to help Athrun as much as possible thus far, so there's no telling how far his generosity will go. It seems to me that the only other way that he could obtain the Saviour would be through stealing it, or rejoining ZAFT, which to speak frankly are both unappealing options. So, I'm rooting for the generous Chairman scenario.

He won't be building Savior.

But I do like the idea of the chairman giving it to him but I can't see the chairman, even if he wants to help Athrun, just give it to him. I have a feeling that it'll be flown under the ZAFT flag. A situation where it's like "I'll give you this if you fight for ZAFT" type of scenario.

If Athrun is going to be piloting Savior, then the ZAFT technicians will obviously have included the standard self-destruct button for him

I wonder if there'll be more Gundams than "the known ones". Like, did we know about Freedom and Justice in the beginning of SEED? Which cool names are still free?-)

Maybe ORB.. remember that ORB made the first gundams in seed.. and they have that technician girl (forgot the name) who was fighting with them in the last episodes...

well, Athrun definitely can't build a MS by himself, but it's possible that he will later be involved in some MS designs... It seems that it's not that hard to custom mod Gundams, see those Astray Gundams, those guys modded the hell out of them

Also considering in Z Gundam, both Kamille and Scirocco have designed Gundams for themselves, and I guess Athrun is a genius electronics engineer as Kira a genius programmer, so it's indeed possible that maybe he'll do some MS design himself

For Psycho Haro Gundam Lacus Clyne Custom, you just need to put an Angel Halo system into it and let Lacus sing inside, and the entire humanity will be instantly reduced to babies

i dont think he will build it himself its entirely possible that he designs it or somethinf like that but i dont think he will actually build it, either that he designed it or it got some spceial design, it really need a reason to be more confidential than the chaos, abyss and gaia i mean impulse has its whole launching system with minerva so it got a reason to be more confidential but what will be saviours reason? if it is like chaos gaia and abyss its just stupid to have it hidden within the minerva.

Spoiler: Besides, considering the fact a colony just got dropped on earth, there's gonna be some heavy anti-ZAFT feelings. So, having Athrun, a war hero who's known to fight for the right reasons, fight for you makes ZAFT look...somewhat better in the public's eye. Even though nobody's gonna believe they didn't do it, Athrun or not.
