Btw, if you want to know when a certain show airs in Japan, you should check this calendar: http://www.mahou.org/Showtime I find it useful.

Probably gonna see subs for both really, if anything the uncut will fall behind. I don't really see a lot of material in the manga that needs to be shown uncut aside from a few chapters, nothing as blatant as Blairs tits like the first episode. But I guess it depends on which groups are doing it.

...Well, I just watched the episode. Atleast TV-Tokyo didn't crop the series like I was expecting them to. Whenever they played the adds during Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003, the ads were cropped for some reason. Anyways, there was a good amount of blood during the opening scene, so something tells me the censorship was around Blair, although they did show her chest, but without any nipples. So I wonder what the extra footage will be about then... Especially given the content that they showed at 6:00pm... Also, it's rather a big change since the last two toyotic series that played during this slot. (TMNT 2003 Japanese Dub and Bakegyamon)
I really liked the Opening song, but the ending, was just mindless screaming... The animation, though I loved. The opening had some really top notch animation, without resorting to much static backgrounds, it was mainly full blown animation non-stop. One of the things that surprised me, was Bones kept consistant on the animation quality through the entire episode. There was alot of motion, and despite this, there was minimal short cuts used. As for the episodes? I enjoyed it. A good mixture of comedy, action, and some rather unusual "style" to the series itself. I'm certainly going to keep on watching this. |

Great animation, great directing. The OP and ED both totally deliver on creative levels as I would expect from BONES. The only thing is, yeah, Maka's seiyuu blows. She has a few more eps before she has to face off with Maaya's character, so if she doesn't improve by then the fanbase will probably destroy any future she has in the industry.
