Oh, there's one that really got me when I first saw it. One, that chilled me to the bone, made me burst with anticipation. One that has shown me the power of cooperation between Blizzard entertainment and Blur studio.
No single opening has ever impressed me again as much as this back in 2000. Of course, 10 years is 10 years...it's lacking in visual quality now, but back then something like this was unthinkable (well, outside Japan, that is XD) But then again, they sure know how to keep up... Spoiler:

Y's I & II Eternal Openings, Origins, and Y's VI hit the home run for me. Others would have to be various openings in the Metal Gear verse, Epica Stella/Vanguard Bandits, Growlanser III/IV/VI, and the original Wild Arms and the original two openings of the second wild arms. But I won't be digging for all that, just some passable quality Y's ones.

It saddens me that no one nominated the animated intro from Suikoden III, arguably one of the best JRPGs to grace the PS2.
The manga of the game has long since been completed and even translated into English. Makes me wonder why it was never adapated into an anime. |

I'll list a different one now: .hack//GU: Redemption Tales of Vesperia: Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratosk[Dawn of the New World] Hmm surprised to see someone listed that one since I thought it was the worst of the three .hack//GU intro <_<.
