Hibike! Euphonium Season 2

Yep, they totally announced it...at the today's event in Kyoto...in front of viewers......including ME.
I'll post holy place pilgrimage photos later. (EDIT)I posted them. Btw, I kinda thought it's not gonna be TV Anime but movie(s). Because it only says 続編(sequel). 2nd Phase of Hibike! Euphonium debut...
Didn't even know another Eupho thread existed since I'm so used to the licensed thread but anyhow, not sure if anyone else caught the first chapter of the sequel to the previous story but the 1st chapter is similar to how volume 2 of the novel opens up.
And I'm not purposely comparing the two but the first scenes were so memorable to me so it was nice seeing this in manga form. I really hope they use this opening scene for the 2nd season since it introduces a character for the new arc. Konomanga is still hosting the official manga though as I mentioned in the original Eupho Licensed thread, each chapter is there for a limited time not counting the first two chapters as they are a way to introduce the readers to the manga. You can catch the beginning of the 2nd phase here: http://konomanga.jp/manga/euphonium It's fairly easy to read if you know your kana. It's got Furigana for the kanji-limited readers. And you can read the first two chapters of phase 1 as well as has the same events of the novel and more or less the 1st season.
