The "don't trust Alicia" flags were prominent in this episode. Doesn't help that she has spend enough time to get a feel for his weaknesses, namely that he doesn't kill people who have proven to be possible threats to him.

As Akito Tenkawa says in SRW V,
Akito: More to the point, It's always the mysterious girl who cozies up to the hero, who is the spy. Everyone knows that.

The 'Alicia is a spy' flags were already in full display when she was introduced, this episode just raised it to full mast.

To be fair, Diablo can't just kill Galford and the medusa fanboy, the shitstorm he would get from the kingdom will be too much for him.

Right. I think it was right not to kill both of them, or it'll cause too much trouble for the three. Since Galford is a hero,, and killing Saddler, will cause disturbance and attracting people like him.

for some reason, I just like how Alice stares at Diablo when he let Saddler go. It makes her more attractive. Glad to see Edelgard again.

So something is definitely not on the up-and-up with Alicia, when we see her killing random people and mulling over how "mortals" need to be wiped out, or implying Diablo should've killed a defeated foe which runs against her goody-goody Imperial Knight image. I guess Sylvie replacing her illustration in the Ending should've been an indication that something wasn't quite right with her (and her status in the Harem). Also, were those dead bodies always surrounding her in the Opening ?

That Turkey Shot was pretty cute, which definitely fit Shera quite well. Although I did feel kind of bad seeing it get stuck with the Slave Collar since it seemed to be almost choking the way it fit onto it's body .

Is this the first time Shera has actually shot an arrow after being promoted as an archer character in the Opening since day 1? It's always nice when she gets to do something that doesn't involve being groped by Diablo or dressed in a skimpy outfit. Granted, shortly after she ended up naked and having Rem tugging her breasts around, but baby steps .

I never thought I would be fine with a world without swimsuits, but...naked bathing .

And I guess the girls don't mind Diablo seeing them naked by this point, only taking issue with him claiming they smell, although I guess they were also expecting him to get naked too .

Bless Shera and her sweet, straightforward, personality. Once she learns about Krebskulm in Rem's body, she doesn't react with fear or anger, but with empathy and care for what Rem's going through .

I guess it was only a matter of time before Edelgard came back, and now she's kind of on our heroes side, at least in so far as making sure nothing happens to Rem while she has the Demon Lord inside her body. And she's also being a bit Tsundere when it comes to Diablo being the "true" Demon Lord, and her pout was really cute .

I don't know if it's really such a good idea to release the deadly, world-ending, Demon Lord from it's prison in Rem's body just on the idea that Diablo will be able to defeat it on his own. I mean, Diablo's Diablo and it's for Rem's sake, but even he's starting to struggle more against the bigger threats of this world .

I guess Diablo is like someone who's so used to making the aggressive dialogue option in video games that they just do it by instinct .

I love how they set up Saddler (was that Daisuke Namikawa I heard as his VA?) as this new, dangerous, rival for Diablo, someone who's psychotic, a Class Diablo doesn't have much experience with, potentially on-par with Galford, has a grudge against anything Demon Lord related...and Diablo takes him out in a single arm motion. I guess not everything he'll be facing from here on in will be different from the game version .

Although I did kind of want to see how he fought with those four swords on his person .

I actually kind of wonder if Alicia was intentionally leading our heroes to Saddler so Diablo could take him out, considering her reaction to Diablo not killing him, almost like she was expecting/hoping for the opposite...

Going by the preview...I figured the loli character in the Op/Ed would probably be related to Krebskulm, but I wasn't expecting that character to actually turn out to be Krebskulm (although in hindsight, I probably should have) .

This is kind of amusing considering the latest episode pointed out that the world of Cross Reverie doesn't have the concept of swimsuits. Plus, it's not the most revealing thing Shera has worn on this show .

It looked to me like Alicia figured out that Diablo's magic reflection came from his ring with that last long stare.

No, she really didn't want them to meet Saddler.

That scene is longer in the source. I won't go into detail on what was missing from it, but among other things it tells us that those bodies were some of Galford's men who had tried to assassinate Alicia to prevent her from reporting to the king about the events of the previous episode.

At the very least I don't think it's strange that she felt he should kill Saddler. We've already seen that Saddler has no problem annihilating everyone he perceives to be evil. He seems to be really twisted and evil, and I'm pretty sure she suggested killing him because of that, as well as how relentless he is.

From what they said it's a two-sided thing: people are expected to bathe naked and therefore no nudity taboo applies, but it's considered a point of simple manners not to look. They seem to have a pretty firm opinion on this since it doesn't bother them, so I suspect he'd be seen as rather remarkably rude if he did look or if he showed *evidence* of noticing things.

Yeah probably could've seen this since the most powerful Fallen we'd met to this point was also a cute girl.

All hail the Biscuit Lord!

Final boss for this run will be Alicia I guess, her mask is slipping and small glimpses of her desire to destroy all humans is showing.

So...that's how you summon a loli demon lord.

That Demon Lord summoning...where the subtext became essentially became text, more or less .

Diablo probably thinks that's the first time he's ever done that to a woman, likely because he was too drunk to remember what he did to Sylvie (although he's been pretty close with Shera). Which does beg the question of how those two got out of that situation then .

Kind of a little late to be having second thoughts about resurrecting the Demon Lord Shera .

Klem has got to be the most adorable Demon Lord ever. I can't think of a Demon Lord who's ever been talked out of destroying humanity...through biscuits .

She actually kind of reminds me of Shinobu from Monogatari with how she talks with such a high-and-mighty air with bits of childishness, although I think it's less of an affectation on Klem's part .

So what exactly went wrong with the resurrection of Krebskulm? Is she only fully revived when you kill the person sealing her? Was it because of Diablo's involvement? Altogether she seems to have all the strong and vast magical power that she's supposed to have but without the memories or goals she had as the Demon Lord...I guess her current form is pretty indicative of what happened to her, being reduced to a childlike state.

With all the girls Diablo finds himself spending time with, maybe he should save up for a bigger bed (although that would probably be too much for him) .

Y'know, I thought for a second Shera was just finding an excuse to be sexually forward at the end there, but I guess she actually knew what she was doing as far as restoring Diablos' magic power .

We're finally getting an idea of what Alicia's real deal is. It seems like all her life she's had to contend with people forcing their expectations or ideals onto her, whether it be how a woman should act or what she should read or how an Imperial Knight should be (which doesn't always mean acting with honor), and now she's completely soured on humanity as a result. And judging by the preview, it looks like she's going to awaken Klem's true form to achieve her goal of destroying the Mortal Race .

I was expecting Saddler would be out-of-commission for a while longer, but I guess it has been a few days since Diablo turned him to stone. And now he's about to go after the guy who is now hanging out with a genuine Demon Lord

If there's one thing I didn't like about this episode, it's that the translators, apparently entirely by their own volition, changed the name of the Fallen who attacked the group. His name is Ourou: you can hear them saying it when he shows up. But for some reason CR decided to change it to be "Eulerex" which apparently is Latin for "Owl King?" That would be cool... if that was actually his name. But it's not. They changed it entirely on their own, apparently because they think they know how to write this story better than the author.

It takes roughly another four volumes before we find that out. Maybe five.

Could I ask you a PM with such spoilers? Since I'm still pondering on getting the JNC LNs...

Hmm, so being a cute loli and having a memory loss does cleanse her of her past deeds, that's convenient.

Also, that b*tch knight is up to something again.

Watched episode 10:

Since the demon lord Klem is unexpectedly friendly... the appearance of Ouro is necesary to have some more tension in the show. Just like Galford, this Ouro seems to be very close to Diablo's level.. and intelligent too, stopped using magic attack when he recognized the reflect ability. If Ouro had kept using strong magic like Gregor did in the town.. he would have ended up dead this episode.

Other problems are evil Alicia and that guy Saddler.

Good thing for Diablo.. if Klem joins the harem, he gets Edelgard as a bonus too. Just kidding.

Just two episodes left. Why good things have to end so soon... I wonder how they would finish this. Anime originial ending? Or maybe there's chance for season 2?
