Yeah... has been more than enough manga to animate for a while now... on the flip side it would mean a quicker season 3 is possible... by the time this finishes it will up to like chapter 272-3....

Need dat season 3 to see chapters 231-232 animated.

I guess what confused me is we got that four-episode miniseries, and Netflix was passing that off as the "second season." When it stopped at 4, I had no idea that was going to be it. I was really disappointed. I was sort of worried there was a problem with the anime and it wouldn't continue. I had just discovered Seven Deadly Sins as well and really wanted more.

Well that 4 episode mini series was pretty much conformation we were going to get a second season.... since it kinda fixed what the original anime changed from the manga during s1.

I actually haven't read the manga for what season 1 covered... but that's what I heard.

In the end it is nice that we've got the real continuation of the story finally airing.

Spoiler for Episode 1 and 2:

Freaking Gowther....Just shows how much he doesn't understand people. Nice that he helped avoid Guila turning into a demon, but basically memory wiping her brother....that's just horrible. The kind of scary result you can get with someone who doesn't relate to others. "Don't need a brother in my romance scenario so....mind wipe." Diane isn't wrong to be pissed off.

The tough journey for Ban continues. That showdown with Meliodas still weighing heavily on him. Tried to kill his friend, his love is still dead, just....not a good time for him right now. Not a fun time for King either. He's already beaten himself up for what happened to Elaine and the forest....but it seems like everyone else is happy to take a few more shots at him.

Still, we're getting things going now. The commandments are on the scene and the Sins really aren't ready for them.
