So Reborn! finally ends, about time, all major points were covered.
Will Tsuna succeed as the 10th or will he remain an indecisive middle school kid?
I hope in the epilogue adult Tsuna will at least meet adult Reborn.

You mean the Ring battle arc? If I remember right, Xanxus was frozen by the 9th after his failed coup d'etat and he was frozen again by Tsuna during the battle.

Yeah, and I am talking about the first time he was frozen by the 9th.
It was in chapter 133 pg 11.
Was it ever revealed who did it and set Xanxus free?

By marks, you mean the scars that appear and disappear depending on how enraged he is? Those are left by Ninth's Zero Point Breakthrough - Xanxus was in the frozen stasis for quite some time, no wonder it left scars on him. And Tsuna even warned him ( before sealing his flames during their fight ) about how ZPB :FE would even further injure his already damaged body.

As for who caused the ice that imprisoned Xanxus to melt... I don't remember. Maybe it was Ninth doing - he must have felt some sort of guilt after the Cradle Affair - he still thought about Xanxus as his son after all, no matter if he was adopted or not.

Ok, having said that... Reborn is coming to an end. Well, all good things end sooner or later. I can't say that I think it's good that Amano decided to end the series, but it's better if she does it now - there's no use in dragging it if she's out of ideas. And she needs to rest too After all of the fun years it was being published in SJ I had fun reading it and it was one of those manga titles that made all my criticism disappear the moment I got my hands on the newest chapter.

I hoped Tsuna would at least consider becoming the 10th to change the Vongola as Primo/Ninth wanted, but maybe he'll change his mind like how his 10 years later self became the 10th in the future arc.

We know he becomes the 10th in the end, because it showed all the future lines and it all have him as the 10th, so despite how wishy-washy he is now Tsuna will become the 10th, no doubt.

I'm sad that there's no conclusion to the little love triangle...however.

Oh well, decent read overall.

I wish they'd explain more stuff though. Specially about my fav character (Fran), like why he was never hurt physically in the future arc, for example, when Beel threw him a bunch of knives that landed on his back, he simply pulled them out with a "whatever" face.

oh well, it was a fun manga, I really enjoyed every single arc, I hope the author's next work will be as good or even better.

Seeing the author move to a female protagonist will be a refreshing change. I wonder if she'll be bumbling like Tsuna or more of the typical weirdly-perfect girl you see in manga.

I swear (Weekly) Shonen Jump staff trying process of serialization when chooses end of manga (Like Nurarihyon no Mago for example, were also rush in progress until final chapter arc). That's a common mangaka trick. Remember Negima? That series is also rush ending.

Overall, its average manga. Not perfect, not worst but it is nicely done though.

Yep, that's it. I heard she'll have a bumbling male sidekick, which makes me worried that it'll be the same thing we've seen a million times in manga (male gets abused for comedy, girl is sexy and objectified, see Kore wa Zombie, To-Love-Ru, etc), but I hope I'm wrong!
