And i'll advise you to watch it again. There is quite a bit of story but its overwhelmed by glorious ecchi. There's at least 2 major plot points that you've totally missed

Aldea & Grabel had "history" past with "that" also we see what batlantis city look like.

Scarlet & Yurishia had games challenges yet scarlet get taste of Kizuna power.

The whole scarlet problem with Yurishia cause in past battles was being pawn to Yurishia.

Damn, Batlantis Empire are full of women! Then again, I wonder if they killed off the men for being lecherous bastards? I mean, I've seen Aine being experimented by old guys! Come to think of it, Aine might have come from the Batlantis Empire.

On the other hand, Grabel just curb-stomped the hell out of the Masters and the Amaterasu Team! I guess that their Heart Hybrid Gear needs a lot of reworking.

I really wouldn't classify him as donkan, it's more like he prefers privacy rather than public displays. Kizuna didn't really try to push Scarlet while she was riding his face afterall.

Plus, he's actually aggressive during recharge.


On a side note, japan already gave us quite a lot of alpha MCs. Recent examples are Kazuma and Arata.

yeah this anime looks like a mix between valkirie mermaid(with a a place with only girls doing perv things between then) with generic harem and the mc is the "only male character which can "do something" with all the girls, this means he have a whole world as his "harem" for now, well nothing too much different from most of generic harems

what you gonna expectate from "generic harem" with generic mc mc.

man i was really trying to avoid watch this serie but my curiosity keep haunting me and sometimes i try to watch some episodes to see if something changed but mehh, really expectating something than "fap" and completely generic plot with one of the girls being from the "other side" with loss of memory and really a lot of harem cliche from this serie is too much, well basically grabe your tissues and enjoy the fap as you can

and really that freaking "cock block" on that ecchis are really start to get annoying the fact which the mc can foreplay with girls boobs and pussy but never "put inside" is really so unrelastic and annoying, we already have a lot of novels and mangas with sex scenes without being "hentai" then why they keep doing that stupid move??? that thing about keep the girls "virginity is really tiresome when we have a serie where they where supposed to be making sex and "no sex" even yuri series like valkirie mermaid you get better vibs of "sex" than that stupid otaku fetiches series.

this make series like that being pointless have a "male mc" when what he does a "famale can also do" equal or better than him or even make pointless the male mc have something between his legs if he can't use or don't want to use it, really this is a lot disturbing.

Coz the deed was done in the state of donkan-ness
Those scenes were treated like they were never happened
And at some point all girls affection will reach max and never receding again (yup, it will stay maxed, it's fate) and all of them will keep throwing themselves to MC but always got cockblocked by something, repeat ad infinitum, till the end of the world

This worthless harem is right up there with cute girls doing cute things genre
It can go on indefinitely... It's like Colombian telenovelas, no end in sight...

yeah that sort of things aways bugged me with ecchi and harem, to the point of i started to follow some youtubers which live in japan(from my country) to try to learn more about it and why that things are so common and really is a japanese thing the peoples being "too shy" too dense" and things like that, japaneses are really too complicated to romance specially males, then this end being reflected in the novels with all the "protakuns.

well but really serious is complicated to understand that thing about you can "touch but you can't use", it's feel like the japaneses believe which girls only can loose virginity if a guy put inside, as if fingers and in some "special cases even tongues"(too long ones) can't do that sex is not just a guy put inside but foreplay and all the others things otherwise girls x girls could not be considered sex(ok i forget which looks like japanaeses don't believe which girls x girls can't be considered sex).

On a "serious", yeah the whole "donkan-ness" has plagued the genre for...I dunno, ever since "harem" series become a thing. One of the reasons why we see it so often (IMO at least) is also due to the lack of creativity from the authors because "How else can you continue the series if the MC is not dumb?"
In their mind, they have to make the MC a numbskull in order to create "tension" with the girls, they think that if the MC could tell the feeling of the girls, the would be no reason for the rest to make any advancement
...etc...
In other words, making the MC a dense character is an excuse to delay any major development, thus delay the "ending" of the series
