MC seems to be comfortable when communicating through twitter/chat applications and the opposite in real-life conversations. So I guess, that through his future meddling with Fuuka, he may become more open? assertive? during rl talks. Personally, I sorta like the basic template of these traits, but haven't seen it executed coherently.

As for the childhood friend? Her smile at the end gave me the vibe of one of those teasing/"trolling" characters. Yet, it's Seo so she'll end up being dragged into the usual deal of love-drama-fail.

I am quite fond of Fuka right now, but I have suspicon I will root for childhood friend more when she make appearence.

New chapter is out. Whereas chapter 1 shows more of Fuuka's Suzuka side, this chapter really shows her Yamato side much more lol.

Agreed, nothing filler about this chapter.

About the chapter, we have a childhood friend who happens to be an idol and the female lead being into music and having a powerful voice.

Let's hope I'm wrong and this does not turn into another one of these turn-girl-into-idol themed series that seem to freaking oversaturate the manga/anime/LN lately.

I'm sorry but this is no valid reason to rationally call this a filler chapter.

Break it down like this: The two main leads found a connection between each other, agreed to go on what basically is a date, then actually went on the date and overcame an obstacle. All that in one single (and very early) chapter.

Some series would've split this up into several chapters. I was actually surprised how fast this went.

I mean I dont hate this or anything ive alwats enjoyed seo's art this just seemed bleh. I mean arent you supposed to do your best as a mangaka to have the most interesting first few chapters to get/keep peoples attention?

This just seemed like a boring useless chapter for an early chapter, like seos like "doesnt matter how boring people will read it" I guess I expected more. Tho I do like the illustrations of fuuka vs say eba (I never liked her design).

Maybe im still bitter over the last 6 chapters of knim, lol
