Was wondering if anyone could suggest a few anime like TriGun.

I like how the main character is goofy and has a gun.

Trinity Blood is very similar in terms of the main protagonist. Both Vash and Abel are extremely goofy normally but they hide dark pasts and are actually super-powerful.

I would say Gun Sword aswell.

hello everyone ............hmm you seem to look for something a little too "Trigun specific" nothing like that exist IMO Trigun is realy one of a kind. I think anime from that time are all particular ^^

Anime about the main man character with guns? yeah I know some. But I'd suggest any action-comedy on animesuki's links or for you to specify what your after.

Or maybe your just lookin for shonen..

Theres too many or too less that would mean your request for a suggestion.

I second Cowboy Bebop and Trinity Blood. I haven't seen the others listed yet.

This could be a strech, but I found GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka) to be similar. Both Vash and Onizuka are funny characters that can kick ass when the time comes. Additionally, both anime have a lot of comedic moments that will keep you entertained. Another connection between the two is that both Vash and Onizuka have hidden pasts, that over the duration of the series gets uncovered.

Spoiler for plot: The story is set on the "Planet of Endless Illusion", a place where rogues of all sorts gather. Van is traveling the world to find the man who killed his bride.On the way he gathers more people with him who are linked to the same man who killed Van's bride. Van wanders around, armed with a metal sash that straightens into a sword. Other then that I would say Rurouni Kenshin, pretty much the same but with swords hope that helps __________________
