If you've heard Simple and Clean in Japanese you've probably also heard it in English right? That's done by her too.

Same here. I like her Japanese songs much better. I've been listening to her since she debuted. She writes weird lyrics sometimes, and it shows more in her English songs than Japanese ones. That could have something to do with me not liking them as much. Although there’s also the style difference too. We'll see with her new English CD that's coming out soon though.

I've heard of Utada. I heard of her a few years ago, actually. I didn't particularly like her, so I didn't keep up with her music.

Currently, her first single off her latest English album ("Come back to me") is doing well for a new and foreign artist in the States. Getting quite a lot of spins and audience impressions on radio stations. Her album is available digitally now and the physical release in US is scheduled to be May 12th.

I haven't yet, but I guess I may buy it when it comes out. Although I didn't like her first English album all that much.
