If its bromance then it should be on Subaru's teammates and same age and rival in basketball. Subaru was hailed to turned a crappy team into a contender team that's why he is scouted and popular but oh well. Capts been messing with coach little daughter which brought an end to his high school career and look at that. He is also doing the same thing as his idol captain the irony of fate.

Didn't like Kuroko Basket. They're basically basketball players with superpowers. As they say, "All flash, no substance." I mean, Kuroko's misdirection is actually pretty realistic (NBA point guards do that on a consistent basis, and the only reason it works is that the opposing team doesn't focus on him since he's not a threat on offense, so misdirection doesn't work if the opposing team has somebody marking on him), but Midorima's 3/4 court three isn't.
Who in the real world can actually pull off a regular jump shot from 3/4 court? Even NBA players can only throw the basketball like a baseball to pull off a 3/4 court shot in-game. But anyways, let's not talk about that. I would rather have RKB than KnB any day, since there are too many male-oriented sports anime out there. Though it would be nice if we could see a middle school or high school girls basketball anime. Or actually another girls' sports anime, but with fanservice ONLY in moderation. I mean, I know RKB can be pretty annoying at the story section with all the controversy about loli fanservice and all that, but the basketball section is already very awesome even without the superpowers such as the ability to literally disappear in front of opponents make a regular jump shot from 3/4 court. I say RKB is a good example of how to make basketball scenes awesome without resorting to cheap tricks and superpowers. Last edited by judasmartel; 2013-03-25 at 05:02. |
