Well, it OBVIOUSLY has the cast down, as well as a full storyline and some extras from mementos if necessary. P4 and P4G were pretty good, so I'll be waiting for this one to take it to the next level.
P.S: I really hope Futaba and Yusuke's antics are animated too, they got hilarious expressions. |

It's really no surprise that P5 the Animation will be announced since it was just a matter of when. I really look forward to this and my only wish for this adaptation is that they keep the exploration aspect from the games because the Palaces were really fun to explore and go through.

Hopefully they'll animate a busybody Makoto stalking Akira through the school and the street of Shibuya. That will be not only cute, but funny as hell.

I wonder what official name they'll give to Joker. The P4 Hero was named Yu Narukami in the anime series, and then that spread to the other spin-offs, I think? Unless they just stick with some generic title until he's called Joker.
The Daybreakers special had pretty good animation and action, hope they can keep that up. The special only covered up to around after the second Palace, looking forward to seeing the rest of the gang animated (outside of the short cutscenes in the game). Just hope someone streams it, probably Crunchyroll (as they got Golden and Daybreakers) but you never know. |

Making a standalone episode is very different from a cour, A-1 can definitely keep up, but there are budget calls to be made, teams to be selected, etc. I'm expecting a solid performance, with a couple of average episodes to build up for a grand finale.
Story-wise, I think it would be nice to have 1-2 episodes per palace with a brief mention of their inner workings. |

Well, in the manga he has a name.
Spoiler for NAME:
I wonder if they will put the same name to the adaptation. About the upcoming anime. As everyone here, I'm also excited. I hope (really hope) that A-1 keeps up with the budget.

Best girl is Makoto. Best woman is Tae, who I really hope they won't remove. Social links have always gotten the short end of the stick in the anime adaptations, and I'm afraid that's going to happen again.

They could remove arcade kid or political runner-up guy but probably included all the girls. I will not be worry too much about Tae, she is necessary unlike Chihaya or Hifumi, their roles would be like filler inside the anime so they might as well cut them out.
All the girls r good in general but by the end of the day, it's way more fun to hang out with guys. Bros before hoes after all. |
