Episode 1:
Neat episode, the OP song has small bits of fan service which is kinda funny. Usami is also quite adorable, a bit of an airhead but cute. The art is refreshing (silly in a way as well). Kinda expected a lot of blushing in this as well. I think the show is rather laid-back in ways too and pretty straightforward in terms of storytelling. Glad to see that they adapted the art in style as it's part of the series' themes. A good start so far.

I liked everything about the episode, but somehow I am rather annoyed that Uchimaki keeps emphasizing his lack of interest in 3D, or in this case, his lack of interest in Usami. I could probably stand his rudeness a bit more if it was countered with more slapstick or something. Then again Usami is partly at fault for not doing anything about Uchimaki as well.

I thought it was more like an entire episode of, "she likes him but doesn't have the courage to tell him because she is a hopeless idiot." As someone who can draw fabulous 2D waifus, Uchimaki certainly isn't worthless, and it's not a matter of being clueless, 3D girls just don't appear on his radar. I was quite pleased with how the first episode turned out. I've read all but the last two scanlated chapters of the manga, and the anime certainly has the look and feel of the story down pat. |

I liked this episode and this series seems like it could be pretty fun. I just hope the other characters are entertaining because the gag they have going on now looks like it could end up becoming old fast.
