Sunrise mecha anime series have the tendency to choose the oddest names for their characters (like Amuro and Char, Athrun and Shinn, etc.) that don't sound anything like names in human languages. In Turn 25.07, where can I get a car with the Transformers Decepticon logo as a hood ornament? And do you hate the present Italian government that much? In Turn 25.11, I missed the picture where Lelouch and Kallen make the transition from friends to lovers--granted, it was a bit small to be included in the new layout, but it was still a poignant moment that I think was a good representation of Lelouch making one of the first steps towards living life again, by finally taking another step towards accepting the love Kallen freely offered him. Oh well, it's a minor drawback. Also, it was nice of how you tied up that loose end of how Kallen learned how to cook--while it's not touched on in the series, apparently Ami Koshimizu received a character note that said if Kallen tried to make bread, it would come out as charcoal. Maybe it's something Lelouch can help her with in the future, and reflect on how Milly once told him in R2.03 "But people like you are usually the ones with no earnings potential, no?" and think "so what if I'm not making money off of this? I'm helping to feed and nurture my family, and that's enough for me." The jokes based on the older events in the series, such as the bunnysuit incident were also great. I was half-expecting Kallen to ask him while blushing, "Did you like how I looked in it?" |

Well, about that decepticon logo, page 7 present more anime cameos, the scope was find them all.
For the italian government, everytbody think it, after all, our politicians made laws at personam to be totally invulnerable by every accusation, 80% of our politicians are accused of criminal organization, bribery, concealment of evidence, blackmail....but they're untouchable. About Kallen unable to cook at despite with all the other stuff is very able, it the only aspect written in the original storyboard, but they never used it, people can learn everything, but sometimes they need help from a expert people, Kallen is too much proud and stubborn, but after years of problems, but with Scarlet, finally she surrender and accept help. There's a appendix where finally Lelouch really open himself to kallen and says what he feel. Turn 26.3 |

Well, in the wait, a little preview about the side-story everyone waiting:
After the visit at fake lelouch grave, instead to return to the camper to take care of Lelouch, Kallen does a little detour, Stadfteld mansion...to face her father. Kallen is wounded, dead beat (days without sleep) and emotionally unstable, a bomb ready to explode. Spoiler for Kallen parents:
About the design, Kallen's stepmother was present in the anime, but I just remember her hairstyle vaguely, then maybe she can be enough different from the original, about Kallen's dad, I invented the character, I made a design of a serious man, but with physical features connected with Kallen, just the reader can say "he's her daddy". Your opinion? |
