Maybe the story should have ended at chapter 11?
Not a bad place to stop the story. Somewhat open-ended, but you know that the two will get together. Personally I think people would be less harsh on Taiga if she accepted Ryuji at that point and worked on scaling back her tsun-mode. |

This series is actually not too bad/not too good. I barely started on it, since I "hated*" Louise. While we all may say Taiga is like Louise, I actually loved Taiga-chan. May it be the setting, or the Makoto isn't around... I think I mean Saito here(This is undeniable, since they even have similar character design. Except Saito doesn't origin from a eroge so he has better control. Too bad). But well overall this is a pretty fun series, reading it while bored.
*I don't really hate any lolis(because I pedo that way) but for sometime I just didn't see Louise as loli anymore.

Yeah, there has been a lot of discussion on the two characters, but all I know is my gut reaction. And my gut freakin hates Louise with a passion, but I actually kinda like Taiga and think she's kinda cute. All the logic and reason aside, I just like her way more than Louise.

Reading through the manga, I think it's a nice companion to the books to help visualize certain situations but a lot of the charm is lost in the transition. The narration which explains both character background and (most) of Ryuuji's thoughts makes it less... interesting, and considerably less funny.

Wrong thread.
A more appropriate question on this thread, which I'm going to ask right now, would be: what's the word on volume 2? |

Don't be so lazy and dig a bit deeper, mate. It's only a few clicks away in the Manga section. And no, I've not read volume 9, I haven't even read volume 5. |

I find it unfair when people compare manga-novel Taiga with Anime Louise.... If you want to compare them on equal terms then comapre her with novel Louise as well...And you will see that anime and novel Louise are very different, making novel Louise a pretty good character on her own specially after some interesting development...
So yeah if you do comparisons between the two I think you should do it on the same grounds. Because if we compare Taiga and anime Louise than Taiga wins without any question, but again who wouldn't. Now novel Louise is a different case. |

Man seriously after cleaning your house everyday, + cooking being taken care of and you have the pure guts to call the guy a dog? wow i dunno who i hate more taiga for being a b**** and yes its good your hearts broke you deserve it / or and the protagonist for taking that crap from a spoiled child.
Whats worse its typical him and taiga are gonna get together which is infuriating. He deserves to get with Minori. I <3 her so much.

More seriously, I don't think its cut'n'dried that it'll end up TaigaxRyuuji ... they could easily become simply tight friends while ending up with other mates. Obviously, the author isn't interested in telegraphing the ending.
