Mostly repost, but added in some more errors I'm having.
Not a big deal but there is also some spots were the text is like highlighted in weird like boxes, I'll screencap it when I find it again. Now back to the big problems for me. For the quizzes I just have a blank white screen, and letter choices. I have no idea what the letter choices are though. Also no idea of what most of the questions are, except the first few that are text. ...so I'm just randomly clicking ones. Occasionally the screen randomly closes right before answering for some reason, other times it doesn't. Can't finish the story, this time I reached the end of the story but there is no options for me to choose from, just a white screen. So I can't finish, unlock the tea parties or anything. .__.; Put it on my flashdrive and tried it out on my boyfriends netbook, but still the same problems. ;__;

Edit: Redownloaded the patch and reinstalled the translation, and its working on my boyfriends netbook. Hopefully it will work when I get home. xD Thanks so much. I guess I should have found it weird that all the little introduction paragraphs "welcome to rokkenjima" and the little "good morning" paragraphs on the menu were all in Japanese and the character descriptions in the menu had no words. xD

That definitely confirms your arc.nsa got somehow corrupted or unreadable for onscripter. The file itself has all translated pictures and if the onscripter is unable to find/read it, it will try using the one from the original game directory, although some pictures won't be used since the format isn't the same (most screen/tips/chara texts were turned into png for size reduction sake, while original are in BMP, hence why you don't see anything if the english arc.nsa is unreadable).

The "birthday seat" of a table is the one at the head that everyone else focuses on. It's an expression in Japanese as well as English. Battler is deliberately invoking it despite the formal context, which is why he prefixed the expression with "いわゆる" ("so to speak").

I'm sorry about this. I don't know how purchasing stuff international really work. I want to get the hard copy for Chiru. Before I spend any money on it, I want to know if it's region locked or if I have to do anything weird to my computer to make the disc work before installing the patch.
Also, I want to make sure I have all the money I need. It's 3,000 JPY for the game from Mandarake's Nakano Store. 1,200 JPY for shipping via EMS <- already more expensive than just getting the download. 4,200 JPY = 54.56 USD 4.25 USD for the IPMO $58.81 EDIT: Alright, SAL is cheaper, but EMS is shipped with insurance. But before I spend any money, I should know if the disc is region locked or won't work on the computer. Last edited by RandomAvatarFan; 2012-01-22 at 08:02. |

The disk is not not region locked. But the installer may not work without specific language settings, but you can just copy the necessary files manually onto your harddrive.
Feel free to PM me if you have any trouble with that. |

I realize I'm over a month late getting to this party, but I still wanted to stop by and express my respect and gratitude for seeing this massive project through!
I've been following this thread since around EP4, but I've never posted before. I owe it entirely to The Witch Hunt's English version of EP1 for introducing me to what has become my favorite series of any medium. The amount of work that all of you have put into this is downright incredible, and I only wish I could help expose even more people to it. (I do my best, though!) I've been more mentally and emotionally engaged by this story than by any other piece of fiction in the entire last decade, and I deeply thank you all for working so hard to make it available to more people. I'm further proof that your efforts have continued to push sales even in Japan. And yay, now that I've finished EP8, I can finally open up OMK Cross. Spoiler for <Good.>:
