The school's harddrives are frozen. So everytime you reset the computer the previous harddrive and settings are restored. Plus most programs on the computer are locked out.

So upgrading realplayer would be rather pointless because it's locked out anyways. Plus they would have to unlock all every computer, which would be a pain in the ass.

I can set a background but because of the locked harddrives it would have to be set again next time the computer was rebooted.

In XP* click on the "block appz bar" to release the bar, then pick it and move it on the right, click on block again to have it on your right side.

[*]I have no clue with other OSes
