I have an itsy bitsy.... problem.
I can't level up. Also, before I get any snide comments I'm not level 30. Actually I'm now starting my Legion character (Caligula) and want to know something's wrong? I can't level up, whereas my exp on my pipboy shows 471/200 I still can't level up. Is there any info on this glitch or problem anywhere? Just so you know I can't go through the game as a level one character on hardcore. |

I've not heard of that particular glitch before, Arbitres. Only thing I could think of as an easy diagnosis would be a mod conflicting with something in the game's leveling system. If you're on PC, there's always console commands. Just set your level to 2 and see if it fixes itself or... not.

Ballistic Fist forever! ><
Thanks guys. I'm leveling up now, though I chose to delete my saves and start over altogether. Which actually worked. Quote:

Steam put Fallout 3 and New Vegas on sale this week, still might be going.
I'd never actually played the games so it was an easy sale. Fallout 3 seems a little wonky (keeps throwing up on mods) but New Vegas takes mods quite smoothly. Gameplay in both is kind of interesting to see after hundreds of hours of Skyrim. The first thing I missed was not having the ability to arrange the dead into artistic piles to put fear into my enemies.

New Vegas is a better game in terms of storytelling and characterisation, Fallout 3 is a better game in terms of exploration. Probably up to you which you prefer, it's actually a very contentious subject among fans. |

I'm still tinkering with Fallout 3 (the minigame of getting mods to work), New Vegas has been pretty seamless in comparison. I may just blow the folder away and re-install it.

The only mods one would really need is the GUI one and Lings Coffeur+Shojo.
For more fun, FOOK, New vegas Bounties, Right to bear Arms, More Perks/Traits/Challenges and Project Nevada. These add more interesting maps/dungeons and tooons of quests, challenges and weapons.
