I'll be keeping an eye out because it's definitely the sort of figure I'd like to have and tell guests to take a closer look... Hahaha.

Yepp, the happiness! anime series are pretty boring but Jun, as character was so funny xD

BTW, I think I found the last shop with the figure, it costs 120$ BUT is eligible for FREE shipping (they just added the shipping fee to the figure price xD) If anyone is interested grab it before goes away xD

Now to wait the long agonising wait for Shipping of my Miku figure from Singapore, got sent about 4 days ago, so only a couple of weeks (more than likely) left to wait, then it can get a nice good spot on my desk.

When you find a guy whose Animated counterpart is voiced by both Lance Henriksen and Akio Ohtsuka, it's hard to complain!

Alright this is turning out to be a pretty good day.

My order for the Jun Watarase PVC figure is confirmed and in processing.

My Creator's Colelction Shoujo M figure was sent as well as a rare Dragon 1/6 scale Fallschirmjäger ( ;D ) figure set.

Should have those two Monday but YesAsia said to allow a month for Jun.

Where can I get some cheap 2nd hand (or direct from retail) Nendoroid figures? I am quite frightened by the prospect of being sold a Chinese clone though, that's why I have avoided Ebay uptill now.

The fascination with traps baffles me.

*shivers*

Scary.

But, whatever makes your boat float. The figure is cute, but the "surprise" is just... so... ewww.

If I want "danger" I'll go skydiving.

I like the Alter Sasami better. In fact, I need to preorder that. Too nice looking to let her get away

Yeah, eBay has way too many clones to risk buying from there, unless you do some really good research on the Nendoroid you're looking for. The standard price for a Nendoroid is 3000~3500 yen; most online stores based in Japan give a discount. Some suggestions for stores to buy Nendos are Hobby Search (currently has a 5% off campaign, which has been going on for 5 months now), Hobby Link Japan (has early bird specials that usually cut the price by ~5%), and Otacute (their prices are in American dollars and euros, even though they're based in Japan. Because the yen in pwning the dollar right now, buying from Otacute saves about $1.50 per purchase). I've ordered Nendoroids from all three of these stores, and I guarantee you that they have excellent service. The only knock I have is that Otacute sends their merchandise in boxes about 1/2 an inch larger than the merchandise's box, with no protective padding, so denting from international shipping is extremely likely to occur. My shipment from them with three Nendoroids gave a teeny dent to one of the toy's boxes.

The next best thing to buying from Japan-based stores are buying from stores based in your country. I'm not sure where you are in the world, but it's probably nice way to avoid customs, which I hear can really bite you in other countries (they keep your package and make you pay!). Here in the States, local stores raise the price by about ~$10. I highly suggest you research retail prices and whatnot when buying from local stores because they won't hesitate to jack up prices on popular items and even lie about the SRP, knowing that most customers have no idea what their prospective purchases are actually worth.

Source: Own 10 Nendoroids and counting.

Ami Ami is pretty good too with their prices. Usually something like 15-18% discount for pre-ordering the item.

I was wondering why when I pre-ordered azu-nyan from them it only worked out about £20. I thought that was really cheap.

The best thing is that you can pre-order them but you don't have to pay until the item is in stock and ready to ship.

I'll be looking to Ami Ami for a lot of my future figure purposes I reckon.

Tell us how the Canaan figure goes. I'm torn between ordering it because I'm still sceptical of the pose.
