Still I was suprised that Kenichi was the first too react or attack. Why? because...

1. They had weapons and looked dangerous.
2. Miu who has experiance is usally the first too do what Kenichi did.
3. And yeah he is always scared of weapons.

I was a bit suprised too, but remember his fight with Ethan taught him to start a fight going all out instead of his previous slow starts. The arc with Shigure taught him go gain more confidence within himself as well a becoming more a man (Any quest that involves Shigure makes a person a man no matter how you look at it). His current training with Shigure and Sakaki taught him a technique that would block a weapon attack. So I am expecting him to be a versitile opponent for YAMI's weapons devision.

I am looking forward to the next chapter to see if there have been any improvements to some of the members of the Shinpaku alliance. I am hoping that Ukita gets a good showing in this arc.

Just wondering, but what ever happen to Toga the Kicker? The guy fell of the map after the Ragnarok arc.

I'm pretty sure he was just a delinquent trying to act like a big shot in Kisara's gang. He probably went off and tried to find a new group. He didn't seem like he had any good in him during his few appearances, not that some of the other villains weren't the same but still.

The manga pretty much made it clear at the D&D arc he wasn't cut-out for the SA. Poor guy.

It was not that surprising to me, though I did half expect Miu to do the honors instead. The thing is, Kenichi is always portrayed to do the most unexpected things at the time were people least expect him to.

Besides, he's grown a lot. Not just from the start, but also from his various fights with Yami opponents as well as his fun-filled excursions with his masters.

Shigure's training did its job on him.

More than that, I want to see the battle between the masters as well as Kenichi and Koukin, the man who almost killed him.

Having courage means to understand fear. He still has his fears but overcomes them with courage.

Pretty much the Shinpaku alliance decides to go to the next level, and I enjoyed how Miu was making an understanding on how Ogata picked them in the first place to be Fist for Ragnarok. Very nices shots of Shigure and Kisara. That Muay Boran Master seems interesting, though he should be fortunate that his attack caught Shigure by suprise. He should also be fortunate that it was not Akisame that he was facing or he would have been choked out. Alexander pulled a similar attack that placed his life on the line and was chocked out for two seconds that lead to him admitting defeat. The Shinpaku alliance should also count their blessing that there were no armed Masters there to pick up the old man or the battle would have turned out differently. Somebody please get Ukita a master to train him. Honestly, he tries his best despite being without a master and still gets his rear handed to him. He still has Kisara's attention despite it all, so that is something he can be proud of. Can not wait for the next chapter.
