Well, it seems that there's nothing important plot-wise. It's just a random comedy central episode. Really funny though. Judging from the presence and position of the characters, it should be somewhere between ep 4 and 5.

Why is it that I end up waiting several months for certain extra stuff for one of my favorite series-es that sounds very promising, and it turns out to be a let down?

The curious thing though is that it says "Next Stage" before the next episode preview (the preview here being for the bonus episode Stairway to Heaven included on volume 7) where it would say "To be continued" and "The End" in the TV series episodes. Hints of a second season? (doubtful) Or does it just mean moving on to the next group of people who don't want to move on from the afterlife?

The Another Epilogue can basically be summed up as 2 minutes of GARtonashi being GAR with "theme of SSS" playing in the background for extra force.

...I really wasn't expecting that, nor for it to be this short. I wanted to see my Yui, damnit.

Another epilogue was very disappointing indeed. Kind of like the whole series.

I like this epilogue better than the one we got in the TV series though. It makes Otonashi less of a hypocrite.

I desperately want a second season, either new people or some "remnent" of the old people helping new people, maybe some oddity where when you sleep you wake up in that world and vice versa.

Kinda like that old tv series called "Odyssey" I think.

I assume then that this Another Epilogue is meant to be the time before Otonashi decides to ascend right and meet Kanade?

I just started watching this...and it's GREAT! I've never enjoyed watching characters I liked die and looked forward to them dying then laughing my butt off! I can't believe this series! There's gotta be more!

I just watched & finished Angel Beats! for the first time and it is defiantly one of my favorite animes now. It reminded me so much of Clannad and the ending was so sweet, I almost cried lol

Yeah, it's too bad this series didn't get to be its full 24-26 episodes. (or at least I heard it was supposed to be 24-26 episodes; but I can definitely see basis in it, as the introduction of the Shadow arc and the subsequent bringing about of the conclusion did feel rather sudden and a bit rushed)

Spoiler for Another Epilogue: I certainly wasn't expecting anything like a 15 minute episode, but I was certainly expecting something not about student council president Yuzuru just walking in to give pep talk to an afterlife newcomer. And that sums up the whole Another Epilogue right there ; new guy, pep talk, end. Something actually about Kanade and Yuzuru after their reunion in the living world would have been more satisfying. Heck a lot of things would have been much more satisfying than some no-name new guy, like any of the other SSS members reincarnated in the living world. Not to mention we know Yuzuru let himself be reincarnated into the living world after Kanade left, so why is he still in the afterlife here? On the other hand this could be why it's called an alternate epilogue; you either have the epilogue where he lets himself be reincarnated and reunites with Kanade in the living world, or this epilogue where he stays in the afterlife and waits for Kanade to come back. It's still rather disappointing, though.
