Just a comment that, as usually happens this time of year, the anime is going to be taking a week off next week for New Year's Break, and Episode 14 will be back the week after that. So no new episode next week.

Great episode. Lol, this was the second episode of the season I watched. I'm visiting a friend so we decided to watch it today. The animation looked great. I thought they did a great job. Am impressed.

Dang it JC Statf. You got my hopes up last episode for a well done Aqua vs Knight leader fight, then dashed them with this conclusion to said fight.

What the heck did they do the Curtanna's dimensional slash?

I love how Touma and Acqua made a temporal truce here.

I saw Hyouka behind Mikoto.
Too bad for Mikoto that she is not really in "that" country.
She has no idea that Touma went outside of Academy City plenty of times.

So Fiamma wants to destroy Touma's right hand and gain Index's forbidden books.
Now the series title really feels like an actual title of the series.

I think there will be a new opening on next episode.

Hope they'll get a better schedule for New Testament and get a healthy production too. JC Staff has too many project so it's basically impossible to handle all their anime correctly.

The mastermind behind JC Staff need to slow down and take less project to animate.

Hmm, so that is how the attacks of each part of Ascalon looks, I always imagine them as physical slashes instead of wind slashes. Bad reading comprehension.

At this point it should be obvious that if there is an Index anime project they'll always make sure they have 3 more projects on the studio .

I actually kinda like this episode even though it blast through 3 story beats in one go, must have lowered my expectations by that much.

It really is credit to the original story and even in it's butchered form the potential still shone through and I can still get hyped for the conclusion. Index is best when you can see multiple POV of the same scenario.

Completely forgotten about the Boob Kingdom as well.

IIRC it wasn't really described as the actual weapon itself attacking or some magical attack so either interpretation is fine

JC Staff global management should be based on Bones model

They are blameless : very good and healthy schedule / many talented animators & good contact with free-lance animators / 3-4 anime per year / bonus : good source material to adapt (my hero / mob / bungou etc...)

If only Jc Staff did the same...

^What works for one studio is not going to work for another, each studio has their own culture within that fits them and o it them.
