The trailer really is spoilerific though, but that seems to be the rage with all trailers these days. Still looking forward to it though. 12 days!

Spoiler!!! But meh, stuff like these makes me glad to see cuz' I know that game will rock even harder with scenes like this. SO3 rarely had those relaxing moments between crew members where they speak about various things. This one probably has.

US Gameplay trailer.

Sorta lol'd on some voices, I'll get used to them though. Their not that bad I guess, well maybe with one exception.

Hmm, no real complaints here. The little brat is meh, but then again, so is her Japanese voice, so no loss there.

I still hope we'll spend less time in medieval places in this Star Ocean...

I don't understand why the localization team felt the need to make the loli's voice even worse than the Japanese dub, it wouldn't of taken much effort for her to sound better.....

Christ, her voice reminds me of the twins in Infinite Undiscovery.

Really? I find them both to be equally horrible. That's one character I'll avoid at all costs.

The Japanese one sounds a little better to my ears, although not by much. The other characters don't seem too bad.

It's going to suck if the loli ends up being the best character in the game though.

It'd be ironic if it was, considering a majority of symbology was horrible without specific set-ups.

That's actually quite funny, considering mage-type characters aren't worth their salt in the SO series compared to fighters. XD

Mage-types are squishy, and I find SO's AI controls placing the squishies in far to dangerous positions. And with the whole 'MP to zero means KO as well' thing that SO3 had going on, that means using MP is the last thing you want to do.

So long as the mage AIs don't act like Estelle's did in ToV I'll be a very happy man.

They screwed up the mage AI in Vesperia? Damn, and they did a good job with it in Symphonia too. Well, in my experience at least.

The mage healer AI to be exact. She had a nasty tendency to run into the front line to melee the enemy, regardless of the tactic you put her on, then start casting a spell right next to the enemy. The DD mage's AI on the other hand, was fine.

Waitaminute... *googles Estelle* Isn't she a melee healer to begin with? You know, carrying a shield and sword and all that.

Her melee attack is weak and slow, which means that she won't be doing much damage to anything she's attempting to kill. Unlike Karol and Raven whom are fighters that have healing skills with nearly instantaneous cast, her skills require a casting time. I'm sure you can figure out where I'm going with this

Wait wait wait, they gave a melee healer a casting time?

Good grief. Who was the one that made that decision?
