General Mickey Mouse Character

Yeah, I know I'm boring, But I consider Mickey Mouse one of my favorite cartoon characters of all time(along with Donald). It's partly because I grew up on Disney, but also there are a lot of pretty exciting portrayals of Mickey Mouse(Runaway Brain, The Brave Little Tailor, Comics). Even though Mickey's known for being a goody-two shoes, I don't necessarily see it as a bad thing as long as Disney can balance his attributes. Optimism, a little mischief, makes him a more well rounded character.

Its considered good form here on the forum to actually summarize or explain a link so that people aren't blind-sided by things NSFW and such. Welcome to the forums, be sure and read the rules

Two modern interpretations of Mickey Mouse that I love (and have helped reshape my opinion of the mouse):

Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) - Mickey appears as a lovable prankster that, accompanied by Bugs Bunny, jokes around with the films main character (played by Bob Hoskins) while he is plummeting to his apparent death. It's only a brief scene, but Mickey, while still as lovable as ever, is very sarcastic and a lot of fun.

Kingdom Hearts (2002) - Mickey plays the "King" of the Disneyverse, exploring the various worlds of the game, defeating evil where ever he goes. There is nothing more fun than watching Mickey Mouse kick ass.

Not particularly a character... but... you can dance now. This routine is fairly easy - compared to some of the stuff out there.

Nowadays... mention Mickey... and this is the first thing I think of.

Mickey's forgotten older brother :-

It's but a twiste of fate that Mickey was born and we might have Oswald The Rabbit today instead.

Luckily, we have them both with us, through Epic Mickey.
