We managed to release episode one without using a translator (The episode was quite easy to translate) but episode 2 is a lot more difficult. We have a team ready to start right away.

Position(s): Timer(s)

Project(s): Daddy Long Legs, other various things.

Requirements: We're looking for a couple people to possibly take over timing a couple projects. Basically these are shows that should be moving faster but because I'm so bogged down with work they kinda get stuck at timing. So, the basic requirements are that:

1. Able to time a script within 3 hours.
2. Around a lot, and dedicated when put on a project.
3. Able to do scene timing.
4. Able to do karaoke timing. (!!!!)

Contact Info: Contact me, EmptySoul on IRC or via PM on here. I'm usually around at some point in the day. So just drop me a message. Thanks.

So, if you meet these requirements, then please drop by and see about joining our team. We're really looking forward to seeing some new faces. Bye for now.

Little summary, Nyanko's recruiting 2 more translators for a new, rather large project. We're not too fuzzy about skills or whatever. We don't care about our e-penis and just try to have a good time. So even if you don't think you have what it takes but want to give it a shot, it's alright, we've got strong enough editor and QCers to right all the wrongs, so you're welcome to try.

I'm available to encode for anyone... I have experience primarily with XviD and H.264 codecs, a decent understanding of AVISynth and VirtualDub, and can work with whatever format the group is willing, provided they don't do something stupid (Like H264 in AVI...). I will do DVD-ripped sources, if they're given to me,.

You can find me on Zirc and Rizon, by the name RX782. (Specifically, I'm in the #animesuki channel if you cannot somehow find me). If work takes forever to start (see: weeks) I'll probably drop.

Group: Melody Fansubs

Positions: XDCC Bot Providers, Timers, Translators, torrent seeders(High upload needed).

Projects: Binbou Shimai Monogatari, Lemon Angel Project

Melody-Fansubs has made some of it's first releases. But alas we still have no bots...

Please if anyone is willing to help provide us with an XDCC bot. Please contact me.

We also could use a timer to help speed things up for us. And another translator wouldn't hurt.

So if interested, then come down to our IRC recruitment channel at:

#melody-recruit@irc.rizon.net

Or send me a PM here or contact me by email at:

suzumiyaharukalover@yahoo.com

I look forward to working with anyone who joins.

You will probably be more useful if you are Japanese-American.

Preferably have a working knowledge of japanese sentence structure. We use "International English", i.e. "honor" not "honour", otherwise known as American English. Although if you are fond of the nonsense word "gotten" don't apply.

Ok, there is a BIG reason I used quotation marks. It's called sarcasm. All my current editors are American, so I'm stuck with it. In the interest of consistency we are continuing in that style.

Now, back to the thread...
