But ouverture was from 2006 so it should not have made it into this year's tournament. So the question is still in the air...wtf?

Ofc I won't mind a bit if gin sama were somehow able to haxx her way into this

Ok, Ouverture was in 2006, I was thinking it came out 2007. It probably slipped thru 2ch's Judges... I'm sure it'll fix itself before the tournament...

Well, since she really wasn't in an anime, I suppose that's to be expected......

My only hope is, since she's got such a freaking huge fanbase, that Kyoani will make a couple of genderswapped episodes in Haruhi S2......

To add to Neya's statement, your chances are also hurt if you don't even show your face for the entire series.

Probably because she wasn't animated. of what I can gather from other posts, it looks like her picture appeared in ZSZS, but if I understand correctly, the girl has to be animated...

Believe me... i'd vote for Kyonko until she went up against Hanyuu....

She was actually technically animated...
someone called out to her back in a scene in ZSZS.

It was just "a picture".

They probably set that rule up after last year when a few photos were not just nominated but went into the prelims (1st round cut off) and almost pull off a win in the first round.

Kanata was just a picture during prelims last year. Her episode didn't happen until way after she lost in Round One.

It will be sad if this cut happens and Kyonko does make an appearence in the soon to be released Lucky Star OVA (still a camoe most likely). Though that will give fodder for next year.

There are always rules set up to cater for a very specific situation...
This year we may have a Hecate rule or iM/iMX rule to just for a few...

Of course, anti Kyoani-Chus are always on the rise. Can you blame them? Prolly no.
