Naofumi can have a harem, Ren did end up in a Bigamy marriage, Motoyasu can satisfy his bestiality fetishes but Firo can't have 2 people to love. Why can't she?

Also, about the illustrations, plenty of evidence that LN is definitely being different than the WN by A LOT, and Naofumi, that was the gayest/most fabulous Shield I saw on him. Those petals better work like sebonzakura(who am I kidding, he's never getting any attack power without curse series)

Minor events that occur form the start are different between LN and WN. MAJOR, AND I MEAN SUPER MAJOR divergence starts from Volume 4 in the Calmira Islands where Naofumi and co meets the vassal heroes of the other world (Glass and Scythe hero)

So that really IS Fohl. I did have a slight suspicion, mostly on account that why does he look so girly? If I didn't know him from the WN to be a dude then I'd have totally assumed that to be Atlas/Atla/Atra/Arta's older sister.

Now I find the fact that both the slaves with androgynous features ended up marrying each other. Fohl and Kiel. I'm pretty sure a lot of people had difficulty determining the husband and wife of the couple
