- Oukoku Michi is lengthy, while Hisshou Dungeon in comparison is shorter.
- Oukoku Michi is genuine medieval-fantasy, although the fantasy part is a bit lacking. Hisshou dungeon is a fantasy but Yuki actively use Earth modern technology and philosophy.
- Aegir is brawn, and story cover more of war aspect (has lots of battle scenes). Yuki is brain (though he can be brawn if needed), and story cover more of political aspect (more on administration, less on battle scene often battle finished)
- Oukoku Michi is warlord conquest. Hisshou Dungeon is superpower rule.
- Oukoku Michi is nocturne. Hisshou Dungeon is narou.
etc, etc.
- both has good comedy.

Read Hisshou Dungeon first since it's shorter, then you can go for Oukoku Michi.
