Well, if we're just going to the timeline which is important (like CT true ending) and discard all the timeline that is not, it's actually pretty straight forward for me

Nono you don't understand. In CS, Takamagahara enacted the "Continuum Shift", which fragmented time in Kagutsuchi making it so everyone experiences an entirely different timeline. That's why the canon paths for some characters don't quite fit with the rest of the canon paths. CS true ending is also different from CT true Ending. CT true ending is basically like another loop, except it is the final one. CS true ending actually continues from where Ragna's canon ending left off and incorporates elements that would only make sense if you've seen the canon endings of a few other characters, including a few that aren't actually required in order to actually play the True Ending.

They could just write an entire new storyline for the anime, and just incorporate certain elements from the games.

Or they can go the omnibus route. The way CS is makes it possible.

It's not that bad; actually, Tsubaki's voice in one of her song is the one that I like compared to other character's song. Kana Ueda, while I like her very much, isn't that good when singing her character's song ;(

Hope BBCS2 balances the game more. I only use Tsubaki and most matchups are hard(What were they thinking with the Tsubaki and Tager matchup? Every Tager I play says wait for patch). Especially if I can't charge up and Tsubaki's lack of priority. Her dp tends to always trade. If BBCS2 doesn't fix some aspects of the game besides Tsubaki. I'm dropping it completely.

It is more like this is Gonzo when they have a larger budget, beside nopan ^^, with the peropero running across on nicnico everything reminds me of saki.

Not sure why they needed a new OP, but it is much better than the first one for CS so I guess I can't complain. xD;

What I wonder is if it's going to replace the current one with with the patch for the console version?

Even if CS' OP was bad, all they're doing for CS2 is adding 4 new characters, a re-balance of the other characters, and probably a few other things as well. I feel that isn't enough to warrant a whole new opening sequence.

But they did it anyway and it's better. So good for them.

TBH, I'd prefer they just start working on BB3 rather than trying to improve CS. But that's just me.

Probably is BB3 is going to need to be pretty radically different to get another retail disc.. if it's just seen as another "update" than sales will continue to drop. That is the reason why CS and SSFIV were sold @ a lower price, not because CS + DLC characters = full price game, but because of the stigma fighting games "updates" carry. (thanks to Capcom and SFII, funny how sports games don't get the same criticism.. though nba 2k11 is so much better than 2k10.. theirs a reason it sold twice as much than 2k10..) Both CS and Super sold much less than their initial versions... if this "stigma" wasn't around than no way would SSFIV AE even be considered for DLC.. it would be retail period

I already see this affecting MvC3.. rumor has it that there will be 10 DLC characters in total.. now if their priced @ Blazblue levels (yuck) than man that sucks ass. I would rather buy a Super MvC3 12 months after with these characters (and new stages) + system changes you really can't handle in a DLC update but the market is shifting to DLC...

Anyway has CS2 been giving a release date for consoles? I'm hoping it comes out before Marvel 3 (Feb 15) so I can give the game the time it deserves... gonna give up on Super for the most part after the AE version hits arcades in melbourne.. (I hear dec 18th for box hill timeout...) gonna import Arcana Heart 3 in Jan if CS update doesn't come out in dec/jan.. who am I kidding I'll prob still get it anyway... and MK9.
