Anyways i've just finished watching the gg subs and i was quite shocked welll in a good and bad way...

errr..... first i was kind of pissed that there were a lot of obvious scenes that was recycled.... i mean c'mon this is the climax man (sigh)!!! at least give us some new Sheryl singing routines!

.... next... i'm still waiting for some VB-6 action and the only time i see it in action is in the OP (grrr) ...

.... Bobby being gay as ever ^^.

.... Sheryl x Alto totally looked nice together and Mao Nome revealed to be Sheryl's (correction: grand) mother (ah what a surprise!, but i still don't see the resemblance), i'm totally pissed off at Alto ATM, somehow i get the feeling his intentions is still a mixed bag....

...Grace .... is freaki'n kuwaiii ......... her evilness far surpassed Saddam and Bin Laden... That flaming scene resembles Satan in the lake of fire.. If she dies she will be the next ruler of hell i tell ya.

... Finally the fight scene... i was thinking "if Ranka is going to sing Aimo one more time i'm gonna freak out".... and that's good that she did'nt..... instead she sang "Ai Oboete imasu ka" and i totally flipped over.

Minmay is Evil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mankinds song of hope was turned aganst them!!!! and WTF!!! Sheryl's song so weak against it!!!! It's so pathetic it's not even funny. And then Alto got shot down again........ mah .... ohhh man......... I'm so totally full of emotion right now..... or i think i drank too much coffee....... anyway i hope the final ep is good....... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Alto has some great piloting skills. It might have been a panicked move to save Klan, but I'm sure he mitigated the damage as best as he could once he saw that he couldn't evade it. The blast missed the cockpit and engines. Is there an eject feature? I saw Ranka reach out near the area the jet exploded.

It went boom... not that I think he was in it at the time of explosion, whether by dues ex machina or jumping out while he was on the other side of the ship.

I think the word you're looking for is "kowaii" = scary. And yes, I agree.

And yes, Grace is a one in a million villain. Everybody wants to rule the world, but it's not often you find a villain who wants to rule the whole universe!

Considering the fact that people watch through previews like there is no tomorrow as well as the fact that this one's for the last episode it might also be Kawamori making us insecure right till the very end.

Kawamori really likes his god powers doesn't he? I bet he sleeps at night dreaming hs's that giant Ranka singing every fan into oblivion while drooling onto his 'Kawamori Almighty' pillow.

Maybe they can have Alto wake up in a bed in quarter and be attended to by Bobby and how this happen is explained in a Macross Frontier manga sidestory. Than maybe Wesley will shower this show with praise since he seems to think the Kira Yamato surviving Strike explosion plot hole is a stroke of brilliance. But he thinks Rau Le Creset is on the level of Monster's Johan so yeah.. L O L

Looks similar to the deactivated version in any case, specially the bone white color and the shape of its head. The biggest difference I can see is that the Birdman didn't have those insect-like wings.

So now the question becomes: Is this a different Birdman or the same unit?

On a side note, maybe this particular planet was also the site of a successful experiment by the Protoculture and that the Vajra and the network exist to protect the population of "humans" on the surface.
