Evidence is Mikoto is short on other friends. She only knows Uiharu and Saten through Kuroko.

We never see her with her classmates, only with the other three.

I think she puts up with Kuroko because while she may go over the top occasionally Kuroko is notably loyal to her friends and Mikoto is short on them.

I get the impression that Kuroko's more extreme behavior in the anime is due to her feeling that Mikoto's getting on well with Saten and she might not be Onne sama's best friend anymore..

I'm pretty sure that even though Mikoto is always pissed about Kuroko's antics, Kuroko's friendship still outweighs the bad by a large margin.
