I've never once thought of Rukia as being boyish. The new hair doesn't really change that.

Finally Bleach goes back to its roots.
This little diversion was nice, but we always want some (Kenpachi) action.

May we expect major pwnage next week, with Ichigo more hyped up than ever since... what? Ichigo VS Byakuya?

I think the clothes are mirroing Ichigo's new maturity. He's not really stronger than before, just more confident in his own strength. There's no fullbring, inner growth (he literally found a sense to his life during his shinigami journey).

At best, Ichigo might be able to learn some spells, with his training about his fullbring.

Ginjo will probably use them, and we'll get a really sick battle between two sides of Ichigo (in a sense). And no backgrounds will be drawn.

Why did they wait this long? Maybe they wanted to see Ichigo squirm a bit more before finally giving him what he wants.

I wonder if the Full bring thing is going to tie into some bigger arc, otherwise it'd be a pretty useless filler...

I like how even in his "last moments" Ichigo was still begging for a power up, instead of reflecting on his own stupidity. He's like a frikin drug addict.

Rukia being a VC was something i've been dreaming of since she showed us Sode no Shirayuki. i think its amazing development for the character. it's really great to see her back and now i wonder what everyone in SS is up too. Especially Ukitake and Kyoraku. Also Toushiro didnt look so good at the end of Aizen's Arc, i wonder what happened to him.

on an other note its great to see Shinigami Ichigo back. Even on a newer version 3.5.8

Did you not notice that Ichigo COULD NOT see her before he was stabbed? Just read his father's lines, he got stabbed, looked back, saw only his father and Urahara and as he was getting his power back he was finally able to see Rukia. No plot hole at all.....
