My turn off would be when guys deviate from the topic at hand during a conversation, going off into their own personal 'world' with their thoughts and feelings
...
Something alike what I'm seeing in this thread there

If you wanna go into topics of food, take it to your pm boards?

Turn offs...

People who turn topics in to a complete bore. Honestly, I almost fell asleep reading it.

Conversation killers are turn offs,

When you and your buddies are at a bar chilling and relaxing and these 2 girls come out of nowhere and use a pick up line on you :

"Hey guys, can I need an opinion, me and my friend are wondering , who do you think lies more ? Men or Women ??"

I mean, come on!!

We were talking about soccer and boxing, can't you try to just ask us about that ??

Or maybe a simple "Hello ", would be fine.

jeez

You have yet to tried EXTREME Chinese cuisine. This includes dog meat, monkey brain, ginko nut bull testicles fried with beef, pig organ soup (innards includes intestines, heart, brain, but not really extreme), etc.

Dog meat is a poor man's fare (I ate it once, tastes like tough chicken). Pig organ soup is pretty common as it is a tonic. Monkey brain is part of the imperial cuisine served to the Emperor, I once heard from a friend.

You might want to go to the small little red dot in SEA. The food there is great.

P.S Sorry for turning people off with the list of Chinese cuisine.

You remind me one of my turn-offs xD. I dislike when strangers come out of nowhere to try to pick up girls when they are alone or only between girls in a Café or restaurant.

The famous lines

"Hello Mademoiselle(s) ! Are you alone?"

"Can I stand you a drink?"

"Are you waiting for somebody?"

Etc.

I always wonder if those men stay all the day in those places just to try to pick up girls or if they just listen their gut feeling

Ok here is my turn off :

- A girl who smokes
- A girl who takes drugs
- A girl who is alcoholic
- A girl who doesn't like to cook and doesn't know how
- A girl who doesn't want children (because i want to be a father)
- A girl who is not gentle, not tolerant, not smart
- A girl who is not feminine and doesn't care of herself
etc...

And that's all.

But if i find a girl who i really love, i will do everthing i can to make her happy and make her smile everydays I want to be a good husband and i think it's important for men too to be able to cook, to raise children well to take care of the house etc...

Those two turn-offs are pretty harsh. Despite not being a genius, a person can be geniunely good.

About how to cook, I just think that's really harsh A person can get interested in cooking once he/she meets someone he/she wants to live with.

lol I agree with that (I am a dude). Well if I were some smashing female and some guys came to me and said that, right off the bat I would be thinking "Well there trying to get with me". I think obvious questions like that pretty much mean to imply that they are either trying to get you or they are inexperienced (I'm not saying I am, so don't jump me people).

Hmm...for me....Turn-offs in a guy...

1. Dislikes animals
2. Wants kids (no thanks!) or crazy about kids (I'm not coo'ing over the baby with you!)
3. The usual drugs/smokes/drinks too much
4. Silent all the time or unresponsive ...hard to have a conversation with
5. Bossy
6. Tries to change me for the 'better good' =/ (If I wanted to change, I would just go to a therapist)

That's all for now XD

I'll add doesnt like animals to my list as well. A person who dislikes animals has no connection with the world, imo.

OMG, and I thought girls were more concerned about the looks of a guy's face. Here we have guys who are super sensitive to fat girls. Lol

I don't find that harsh. I mean if it's the woman with who i will spend the rest of my life, I think it's normal. But by smart I don't mean genius, but having culture and knowledge (I hope I'm clear ). What i mean is I want a woman who reads newspaper etc...For cooking, that's why I said "don't like to cook" (it's a and not an or )

So, animals > kids? Hmm...

No, really, I'm turned-off by people who constantly coo over babies too (well, not really turned off, but it does get annoying when it's over some random stranger's baby). But I think at some point in life, it'll be good to have your own family

Okay, lemme toss this at you.

City girl grows up in the city in a small flat and thus grew up without pets or affinity for animals.
She's loving, kind and meshes with you on many levels, but because she's not fond of animals or doesn't want pets, in your opinion, she has no connection with the world and you'd not wanna be with her, you're saying?

Not everybody wants a conventional family and for many, a family is just not possible because most of their child bearing age is spent in the rat race. This is more specific for women because with the example of Nicole(porn star that od) a mans seed is viable even if balls are withered like prunes, celiene dion proved this too. I'm just saying for many family isn't the goal at least early on, and sometimes they get caught up in a lifestyle that just doesn't allow it biologically.

You're taking it too personally imo everyone got their turn offs and it's about personal preference.

For Culture and Knowledge, you need money and a good environment. Not all the people have an easy access to that. What if you meet a girl during a trip in a country in which many people are poor and don't have any easy mean to learn things?

Another example, what if you meet a girl who is younger than you? I don't say it's good or bad, but for example, not all the 17 years old girls have a lot of Culture and Knowledge. And at this age, I will say it's not surprising or that abnormal.

You can take a liking to an activity over the years. It's not inborn for everyone. A person can also take a liking in cooking by mixing with someone else".

Look at it this way:

1/ You meet a girl who doesn't like to cook, or don't know how and is not interested by it.
2/ Choice 1: you reject her because of that.
3/ Choice 2: you date her, and she might progressively start to enjoy cooking and or at least try, because of your relationship.

Some girls I know (same generation as me), are not interested in kids. Though it may be normal at this age, some of them see no problem in having a cat, but are harsh when it comes to talk about children. It's not about "not wanting one at the moment", they can really be harsh as if "having a kid was a nuisance whatever your age"

Cats dont wake you up in the middle of the night with their crying .

Having kids, getting married is fine but it's a lot of work as well. For many, having kids would limit their freedom and choice in life a lot. For people that just started out working, they want to enjoy their new lifestyle and the freedom to pursue their career.

Give them a few years imo, once they got tired of the work and party lifestyle, they ll want to settle down. Some will indefinitely prefer the carefree lifestyle or the freedom to move forward with their career but i believe majority of them will in the end settle down with a family.

I myself used to believe having kids and getting married is nothing more than a social programming. I still believe it is but it's also a sign of trust and commitment to your significant other. Maybe I'm just caught by my own programming

Might be hard to imagine for some of the posters here but it's one of those things that comes along as you get older.
