Getting the alien girl on the first date...after the knife fight...that wanted to shoot him down (as in dead out of the sky)...and then forming the best tag team husband-wife combat fighter pair in history, has got to count for something. Plus gettng the hot alien without the need for a love triangle.

Alto needs leasons from a master.

You forgot to mention all their daughters. Their eldest, as the first human/Zentran child, was history in the making. And they went on to have seven daughters and adopting one more. I guess they were quite busy, even at home. (ahem)

Well, ok, they separated. But the love was still there, and I would like to think they eventually reconciled.

But yeah, Max is still the blue-haired Macross pilot to beat.

Never liked Max that much *dodges knifes* he was childishly naive in SDF *dodges some more* but fortunately got better in M7.
